So still 10.... sorry but my transport is already full otherwise I would have offered.

I'm pretty sure we will all be on the same squad.

Hey dont worry about it. There's always next time. Now go out there and kick some major ass!

Good luck guys, have fun and stay safe.

Yeah. Sorry, I'm prolly going to be flying. We'll see. I don't think I'll have time to miss school.

If anyone else thinks they'll be flying then PM me.

Doc, I'll PM you about transport from the airport. We'll see if we can work that out.

Are you flying into Austin or Kileen?  Seems like airfare was the same either way.  I'll be in Austin overnight Thursday and move down to Hood Friday AM.

At this point, but subject to further discussions, I am planning on camping at TA50.

I talked to Bow-Tie tonight, he would kill to get a ride. If he can locate a ride, he said he should be good to go...

I have no space.

Some thoughts...

Greyhound is $160 roundtrip between Phoenix and Killeen, less if you are military or have a student discount card...  its not the fastest trip out there but its cheaper than Amtrak and flying and you haven't lived till you have done the dog...

You might try checking SoCal forums for people driving out.

Anyone else driving have an open seat?

Not that I know of. Last I checked it was just over half full, not counting the real life marines that are going to be playing. :D

Ranger platoon was about 90% full and Marine platoon had plenty of room.... thought I'd see if anyone else would jump the fence and head out for this op....

How much can Bow Tie afford to throw down to share a ride..... got an idea..... but I need numbers...

Hey guys, thanks for trying to get me in but, I won't be able to make it to this op due to several reasons.

1- I just spent $300 on purchasing Gixser13's M249

2- Just recived a Parking ticket from the City of Tucson for $150.00

3- I will most likely be missing class on Friday and Monday

4- The Op is During Family weekend at UofA and My family has already made plans to come down.

No i dont, i live in tucson and i have people coming from out of town. I wont be missing one class but three. And during family weekend at UofA they have a football game, a huge BBQ, and tons of other events. Hey guys dont get me wrong, I really wanted to go to this one but it just didnt work out. I am going to contest the ticket but im yet to hear from the court. This at least gives me more time and money to save up for LC6 which I WILL make no matter what!!!

So I got a question. For us with the higher-end radios, do we have to get them reprogrammed before we can interact with the other squads/units, etc at this Op?

Hav:

Depending on who else in in Rangers/Marines there MAY be high end radios for command use.

Most likely though each side will be assigned FRS freq's to use for the op.

We will have the list of freq's prior to the op so if you need to do some programming you will have time.

The nets will be simple: a command net for all allied forces, a net for ranger platoon and a net for marine platoon.  Squads may choose to run a squad net but the platoon and command nets are the main method of comms.
