It looks like there will be a gun fight at the old sasco site after all!

So far it is very hard to tell what sort of turn we will have but, that not withstanding I hope everyone stays safe, enjoys the day at one of the best palces to hold a battle in Arizona and goes home to tell their buddies how much fun they missed by not showing up for this series! YES, I hope this will be the first of many battles we can wage against each other.

North vs. South, what could be more fun? remember; this will be a simple start a flag capture- defense, we can always throw in extras but for now lets just try to get shooters there.

Complex scenarios to come when we have the players to pull it off.Not right now. If there is enough interest we can run more than two teams, example: North and  South maybe we can add an East and the West that would be four banners, we can make alliances, have treaties or just fight till all four flags sit with one team: THE VICTORIOUS team.

Sasco site  oct15  just a reminder 0800 brief, 0815 head count with team split,  0830 set up flags & defenses and then kill or be killed.

Who likes the four team gunfight? Too much?

I made it pretty much all the way in a Honda Civic that clearanced the ground by about a coke can.

Note : pretty much all the way ain't all the way.

Got past the creek, but the sand after it was extremely soft during the storm right?

I have checked the field out a few times in the past few months it seems to me the road has improved quite a bit. The water section might have become slightly deeper, but I'm not sure. I think the farmers out there threw down some small rocks on most of the road that gets the most water to help keep it from washing away.

As far as wearing helmets, they're HIGHLY recommended. I'm only 5'11 I've bashed my head in there before. In addition to tripping over random objects laying inside the CQB area. Awesome site, but can be very painful![/quote]

Myself and my friend jason will be definately comming in 6 color desert.

We only have cars, but we are comming from scottsdale and should have room for maybe one or two more people if anyone wants to carpool up and split the gas.

Not sure if we'll be able to make it up the road thought, both our cars are lowered.

But definately count 2 desert scottsdale guys in!

If your car is dropped or lowered  you will have trouble.

I have at least one if not two drivers willing to shuttle from the freeway exit to the site. I will be one of those willing to help with that duty since I called for the game. There is a very old tavern buliding with a good lot to meet at. gas sattion next to it good too since it is closed down with good pavement.

Questions? PM if needed my number can be had for the asking

You know that guy who always loses his gear and then desperately posts in the forums, hoping that somebody picked it up? Today, that guy is me.

I lost a set of OD/Black knee pads at the Sasco game. Please let me know if you have them or know someone who does. Thank you.
