Inspired by Pilz's signature
« on: September 26, 2006, 11:13:27 AM »
I've been thinking about this ever since I saw Pilz signature stating all the airsoft guns hes owned. How many peoples parents pay for their airsoft stuff? I'm just curious...my parents have never bought me anything remotley related to airsoft except for my first AEG which I got at my 8th grade graduation.

I've spent a lot of cash on airsoft, and pretty much all of it was mine. My dad paid for our hotel room at SHOT Show, which is kind of airsoft related, and before that like, that was about it.

none...not to say I couldn't harrass them into a christmas present - but we dont do many gifts come christmas. Both my parents love the fact that my bro and I play though...so thats cool.

They both used my bro's old G36C to hose down a Taliban target we had made up  ;)

LOL, 8th grade graduation. They have never bought you anything except for an AEG, I wish my parents would do that.

I dunno, eighth grade graduation's kind of a big deal. We went open water kayaking, it was pretty sweet. I still maintain and submit that it was a ploy to get as many of us killed as possible and that my elementary/middle school was really a cleverly disguised retroactive abortion facility.

It builds character :)

I have bought all of my airsoft guns, the only thing my mom has paid for as stated before is some of my gear, not all " some". I work and i pay for airsoft and there is nothing wrong with that.

Where do you work? My dad paid for everything but my gear and my Hi-Capa, but all of our guns are his and I just get to "use" one. So he lets me do hard labor to help pay for the one I use,but its all good until I get a job.
