OP Irene IV
« on: October 06, 2006, 07:39:35 AM »
Gentleman,
It was once again an PLEASURE to run with you guys this year.  Irene was fun, as usual I could do w/out the politics but at least I got a chance to run with you guys again.  I'm always impressed with your team and the ability to improvise, adapt, & overcome.  Needless to say you guys have some GREAT gear too.  Mikey shoot me an email where to buy those headsets you guys had.  I need to get myself something like that.
I'm not much of a forum hound but I wanted to thank you guys for a great time and I'll see you@OPLC VI.

     Respectfully,
      Marlon Castro
      1Sgt, Bravo CO

It's important to note that PHX COBRA is thinking he might MISS LION CLAWS VI[/b] because of his sister's high school graduation.

STFU, I'm working on getting around that.  I will still attend the graduation, I just may have to get there LATE Friday night.

I'm glad that you were out at Irene this weekend. Castro, it's always a pleasure to have you as our 1SGT.  If you weren't, just the thought of it makes me shudder, it just would not be the same. I remember at LCIV you were sitting at the map/command table with all the little army men markers.  You had quite your own battle right there between tan and green, lol. Will definately see you at OPLC VI and yes, hopefully with much less politics.

And Ben, you better work around it, cause your my battle buddy damit!  8)

GOD DON'T REMIND ME.  LMFAO.  I kept one marker.  It was a soldier with a 1911 in his hand.  It's on m fridge to remind me of that game.  i think I fired 30 Rounds that ENTIRE weekend.

Dang to bad you did not get to play much, I went through 3-1/2 bags of .25 bio bb's, and I was using uzi mags in my M4. Most I went through when I was on the Embassy. It was a dang shooting gallery up there.

I'm pretty sure he means at LCIV.

He couldn't mean at OPI4. 1SGT Castro was a goddamn destroyer, on the front lines, tuning lots of people up.

If they called their hits I would have had a decent body count.  My bad for trying to help civilians.  I kept telling them after I went thru thr trouble of helping them:  'Tell the Iman that Delta helps you".  I kept getting shot trying to help the locals.  So much for that,  It was OPLC IV when I fired 30 rounds.  I went thru 3 bags of .25's last weekend(That's A LOT for me since I usually fire single shot only).  I remember wasting 3 mags on a guy who I had dead to rights, funny how when he realized I was shooting him then he shoots back that I called myself out but he kept playing the game.  Oh well.  I need to come down and spend a weekend with you guys down there in Arizona, seems like you guys have all the angles covered with AO's/Gear etc....  It's been fun, and I hope I can make it to OPLC VI, I was cutting it close with our movie release this year.  If you guys are evere in the SF Bay Area, shoot me an email and I'll get you a tour of Pixar.

   Best,
    Marlon
