tm vs. ics vs. ca
« on: October 09, 2006, 01:27:36 AM »
well, instead of wasting money on a sub $150 gun, i thought i would buy a higher quality one. the problem is, there are many companies with many varieties. i like the look of the m4a1, but am unshure about some things.

1. is one company better than the other? (tm, ca, and ics)
2. is the battery in the m4a1 alot smaller than i could get with a m16? (or comparable model)
3. witch has the most aftermarket support? (mostly internal)
4. witch has the highest highcap? (in ammount of ammo)
5. if there is a better model of gun in my price range (like m4, m16 etc...)
6. if you know of any places to buy any of these guns cheaply, please let me know.

also, being an airsoft newbie, i don't know what the best motor or gearbox set/combo would be. i currently have a cyma cm.028, witch is better than my friends (except a kid with a tm). anyway, i am not looking to spend a fortuine, but just extra cash (i dont have extra cash.... who am i kidding?) that hasnt been used up form buying stuff.

thanks for reading.

the CA hop up made double feed in my TM when i added it to the gun.. but the CA hop up in my CA operates FLAWLESSLY :)

CA has best construction, best operatrion, best internal parts (aside from systema PTW but who has over a grand for the gun alone? haha)

Actually I am sure that there are quite a few of us (myself included) that have put over a grand into a gun that isnt a systema ptw.

Like, I would buy a Systema PTW, but it's not a proven system, and the mags are too expensive for my taste.

i did use the search button. it came up with no results. sorry for that, but this is more than what company is the best. it is what gun is the best from that company.

i am focusing on a classic army Armalite M15A4 Tactical Carbine or rifle from ricksarisoftarmory.

putting over a grand into a gun is different than dumping a grand solid for thr gun by itself. THEN buying a battery, mags, if you want a scope, custom grips, RIS kit. etc..

a clasic army can look, feel, and perform just as well for half the price of a PTW

I'd say G&P.  They have amazing quality parts, and none of the problems that people talk about exist at all.
