TM 1911

I was going to look into buying the Tokyo Mauri 1911 to use as a secondary weapon with my soc 16. also maybe put a new recoil spring into it from RedWolf. Has anyone used the tm 1911 and would put it as a reliable sidearm?

I have the TM 1911, they have great range, it outranges my CQB and it is reliable and accurate. I would reconmend you get a extra mag, when your shooting consitantly it gets cold fast. Onto the 1911, I have had it since july or so, it has seen around 6 cans of green gas, it works fine. The only problem i had was i messed with the hopup, but i easily fixed that. Even though it is plastic it lasts and lasts, I just have not used it because cold + green gas don't mix. When i chroned it, it shot at 300fps consistantly.

thank you for the help pilz. Ive read a few reviews and from what you said the 1911 sounds good. im probably going to buy one soon, so i will remember to get a few extra mags :)

i also have the tm 1911 and i have dragged it through the sand a few times and i just had to take the mag out and re rack the slide a few times and it fired fine.  Havent had any problems with mine probably the best field pistol i have carried.
