I have owned two of these great rifles. I was very impressed with their out of the box preformance, my first one chroned at 350fps with .20's. My second CQB chroned at 300fps with .20's, even though there is a big difference in their FPS both of them worked great. They come with a full metal reciever with Armalight trade marks along with their full metal RIS unit. The only items on the rifle that are not metal are the stock which I believe is abs which is very sturdy, the pistol grip, forward RIS grip and rail covers. Although it does not have the range and accuracy that most people enjoy having, that can easily be changed. I put a little 100mm silencer on my CQB that I own now, in order to house a 363mm Km tightbore this made a big differencer in the groupings of the bb's. I also added a Bigout hopup nub, and a m120 spring, this brought the fps up to 407 with .20's, and increased the range due to the better hopup.Although i was satisfied with the gun stock, I decided to try to upgrade it. So far the gun has seen 1000 rounds with the m120 in it, and nothing has gone wrong with it. There is somthing that I always hear everyone complain about when they buy a CQB, the way the battery goes into the stock. There are a few diffedrent battery configurations for the CQB crane stock, and people usualy don't know how to put it in or just complain that it is to hard. After getting my CQB it took me a few times of putting the battery in and talking it out to get the hang of how it works. Once i knew how to put it in the right way, it was as easy as putting a large battery into a m16 stock. Another problem with the battery that can also be easily fixed is the connections on the cells are genrally poorly done which in turn causes them to come off. This is an easy fix, just take it to your nearest batteriesplus, or re solder the connection(s) and put hot glue over them to ensure they stay on.
The following is a test I did of my CQB before i upgraded it and after shooting at a paper plate sized taget from 120ft.
CQB Stock at 120ft
Semi- I was able to hit the target 3 out of 5 times while the weapon was rested stabely.
Auto- Out of a 8 burst 12 bb's hit tthe target ( I noticed the spread to start taking affect over the range)
CQB with tightbore, new hopup and m120
Semi- I was able to hit the target 4 out of 5 times on while the weapon
Auto- out of 8 bursts I counted 20 bb's that hit the target.
These tests where conducted when there was no wind, and a new paper plate was put out before each test.
