:o oh contrare - it is full auto - and will cut out a hole in cardboard from 100ft and I mean a hole like the size of a half dollar  but of coarse when playing against "live" targets semi auto would sensable be used

That sucks, kinda. I thought it was supposed to be based after the MK11. Oh well.

Sorry for the correction, then, all of the pics I've seen were true to the original rifle and were built on a semi auto receiver.

and no it doesnt suck, it is so freaking fun to shoot my dad shot it yesterday, and upon firing a 2 sec burst he just started laughin, this thing is unbeliavable, even with no scope right now Im shooting super tight groups at 100ft in my back yard this gun is an animal, so even though its an aeg I cant use it at up to 500 fps in a AA game, I thought the rules state that a sniper rifle can be up to 500fps this gun has "SNIPER RIFLE" laser engraved on the metal housing does that not qualify it as a sniper rifle after all you think I'm gonna be running a whole lot and engaging in close quarters with a 10+ lbs rifle? ya not unless I need too. even then any thing closer than 50 and ya the range finder will tell me how close the target is it doesn't lie. anything closer than 50 and I get out my side are for some good times. any how thanks for alle the info and feedback its cool to know there are others who have a passon for this sport. none the less If I cant use the CA25 in "official games", I can still use the KJWorks M700 Even though it doesnt seem to be the greatest in this cold weather still effective though, very much so with red gas.

The AA rules state that - "Bolt action/single shot rifles are allowed UP TO 500 FPS but must employ a 50' no shooting zone."  The rules don't really state what a sniper rifle is, but do state what isn't allowed.

Well, it sucks because I kinda wanted one down the road and I like my AEGs to be as realistic as possible.

With red gas it's shooting over 600 FPS.

AA rules should also state that the use of sentences are mandatory, gez

It is quite possible to get a CA to shoot 500 or even closer to 550. My CA M15 is currently shooting 530-540fps. It is also extremely accurate.
I have about $400 invested in my gearbox (not including HOURS and HOURS of labor. Hell, the shimming alone took about three hours to get it where I wanted it.
If you want a list of parts and a few CA tricks that you will need to know, send me a PM.

SO the CA25 is a full auto gun? The picks I seen only showed two positions, safe and fire and even looked like you could not switch over to the full auto position because it had a block there.

Yep can go full auto there is no engraving to indicate it but it will switch, This gun is a monster on full auto. I'll snap some pics later and post them.

On my M15A4 I had a problem a few weeks ago. The gears were getting off axes and rubbing against the box. So I kept blowing fuses because of the shortage. It was giving power but the gears weren't able to spin. So I got different gears. No big problem! :D
