I have shot nosmo's and it shot a little less than my CQB with a m120 and a m4 tightbore. Which is good since the gun is stock, and mine was upgraded.

Awful idea, speaking from experience.

I have a friend that bought a madbull tightbore for his HK 416 and he says its better than any stock hop up? have you heard of an upgraded hop up for the SOC 16?

Without offense, what you just said doesn't make real sense. Like, a tightbore will augment the effects of your hopup, but they're two different things. There is no upgraded hopup for the G&G SOC16 but you could put a different bucking in it.

Ok thanks.  So you don't really care for the G&G?

No, they suck, I would rather not play airsoft than have to use a G&G M14 again. Both of the ones I owned were dogs.

Laundry list of problems.

Just don't buy one. Really, do you not have like, $30 lying around to get the better TM version?

It'll need new gears, the piston will shit the bed later on in life, prepare for the trigger to be crunchy, sometimes mushy, don't count on being able to get any decent standard mags, don't get bothered when it tears your cutoff lever up kicking down from full auto to semi, et cetera.

I know some about M14s in airsoft and I really like the TM one I have. It's the nicest gun I've ever owned.

My friend has one with a Guarder 110 and its right near 400fps.  I was prob going to buy the SOC16.  Hopefully it will preform the same as the M14.
