OP Irene IV Trailer

The final production will be a 2 disc, 3 hour feature with behind the scenes, interviews, and outtakes/bloopers (probably a lot of me dropping the F-bomb!)

That's cool.

Panjabi MC is cool. It's too bad that music won't be in the final version.

Awesome, that is a pretty damn good trailer, I hope the actual DVD is that good.  The LCV one sucked.

John Lu said the quality of the video this year far surpasses all previos op videos.  Additionally, they storyboarded the whole presentation so shots from different cameras on both sides blend into one clean scene - for example...

there is footage of some troopers from one side preparaing to take a sniper shot at the other side's vip CO, along with footage of the CO getting sniped ...  it sounds pretty awesome!

That was probably the first John Lu game trailer I wouldn't be embarrassed to show my non-airsoft friends. The rest (official and not) all scream "poser"- especially the ones that use the black hawk down soundtrack.

Good stuff. Maybe I won't regret paying for this DVD.  [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif]

Irene 3 was better. IMHO

more pyrotechnics, less observance of safety. No f*ing bikes!

That's my theory; dangerous airsoft is good airsoft.

Not nessisarily dangerous, but that because of the level of maturity they attributed to us we were allowed greater freedom to be closer to things that may be hazardous. I like to be trusted, I dont like being treated like a child.

There were some fucktards that made it dangerous this time around.... on both sides of the color spectrum....  I agree that the maturity was greater at OPI III, but the role playing and story development this year was better...

besides, we had already been there so it wasn't like Christmas anymore.... except for the bikes!  I always wanted a bike for Christmas... oh wait...

3 was by far a better event, but I have a feeling the 4 dvd will be the best John Lu video yet.

If you guys wanted good "dangerous" airsofting, it was at OP Restore Order (an older LC event.)  There was nothing like running into a building to take cover from a technical and have the windows above you shot out as soon as you close the door and hope no one was in the building to shoot you from near point blank range.
