Honestly you guys, Marauders did work hard to make their field. How ever I think it's bullshit that they're charging at such a high fucking price. I remember when their full year membership was $100. Well I paid $100 fucking dollars all together to play 4 times. So yeah fuck them. I have played there a fews times, and honestly most of them are stuck up power tripping assholes. They beef-tits their guns knowing all other players most likely haven't put 2 grand into their gun. So charging is fucked up. Maybe the first time you play so that the team can afford to buy more equipment for the field. NO. They sit there and collect your money. And watch you spend another 40 on a raffle for a $100 gun. It's rediculous. I and a few other friends of mine (who live in phoenix/anthem) are going to build our own field. Hard work labor out in the hot sun. But we're not goping to be charging anyone 3k.
The labor is worth the fun. And that's what we want is fun, not some over charged, nub field. Making people come out so far (203ave and bell) pay so much, for so little time. It's not quiet airsoft, it's airtheft. Because airsoft alone is expensive as shit. So why dedicate my money to some assholes who don't even make me feel welcome, while playing with a bunch of cheap, whiney fucks.

More info coming up on the field my buddies and I are gonna make. $20 bucks first time. But, it's 18 and over, no cheeze power trip rules, and a better field. Plus free BEER!!!  (If you are 21 ;)/)! Ahhh what's better than drinking and shooting. All we're gonna ask is for a measly 20 bucks first time there to help supply the beer, and field equiment(wood for housing/sandbags/barbwire/trenches). But after that all we want is your teamwork/sportsmanship, entertainment, and your enjoyment. And once we have a team of our own we shall pwn the marauders. Like we did last game at Red Dawn.

So here's a wild question...

Who on the Marauders is qualified to teach law enforcement agencies, and about what?  Given the facility, are they going to try training SWAT teams and the like?

I have been leaving this alone because I don't know any of the people involved, but that's a good point.  Who in Marauders is qualified to train Law Enforcement?  Or even private security?  What kind of credentials are we talking about?  Even if you had the best facility in the world, you still have to have alot of experience to be training law enforcement.

You have to be certified by the Arizona POST board to even begin to teach officers anything. the Arizona POST Basic Instructor course is almost a month long. I fail to see how anyone from this group could have the required certifications, but thats just me.

PSG is his company, and Honduras is still the third world, even in 2007.

According to the PISG website, they teach 'security' centering on mail rooms and checkpoints via x-ray, metal detector, etc.  Not exactly what I would call qualified to provide tactical training for LE officers, Swat officers, etc.

That said, even if he has the certifications trying to get a new training organization off the ground is going to be slow going at best.  So it seems to me he is just using airsofters to hold his wallet over until he can get the training business going well enough to support itself.
