AA has big games every month with $0 budget.

And they're great.

Nothing wrong with the marauders trying to make money.  At least now it's in the open.

Doc, does this mean we'll be seeing you at AA games?

Look its ok for someone to build something for himself. But don't say your doing it to benifit others when in the end only one person really matters.  If you can't see that then chalk up 3K and I have some land to sell you on the AZ boarder. This has been tried in the past, I don't expect much this time either.

$3000 for a yearly pass to an airsoft field is absolutely riddiculous.  If this mike guy wants to make money on airsoft tell him to open a retail store, or a field open to the public with reasonable fees for admissions.  What he's doing now is an expensive mikey mouse club.  I don't care how much training they claim to offer.  On that note who's doing the Fucking training?  What credentials do they have?  I don't want training classes from special operations clerks, or ranger cooks!  If I wanted firearms training I'd go to thunder ranch, or the any of the other reputable sources.  All I want here is to play airsoft.  I don't care how nice that field is, it's not worth $3k per year.  I guess their team name kind of fits, but now maybe they should be the fucking BANDITS, because they are trying to rob people.

Like you're the one who's actually paying for it.

Why don't you spend your parents cash on something more important.

I served... I don't need to pretend and airsoft isnt about pretending to be in the military... MilSim is nothing like that and you learn that at national ops like the one I just came home from.....

Yes, maybe your folks should invest in your COLLEGE education, you know, seeing as how you spelled college incorrectly.

Get off your high pony there kid.

Goodnight.  At some moments I feel the need to go on a random punching tangent and this is one of those moments.

But $3000?  Shit, I'd find more pleasure out of shoving $3000 in $1 bills up my ass than paying $3000 to play airsoft.  But the hope is alive that they'll let all active duty military in for free.  Ah, who the hell am I kidding, they're in it for the money...

Don't parents teach their kids to shut up and listen anymore?

I guess if we forced that on all the kids here we wouldn't have our entertainment.

If you think for a second that anybody on this board cares about your parents, you are sorely, sorely mistaken. The second they enter the caring spectrum of this board is the second they take your ass off the computer.

The difference is that if something were to happen I'm sure I could sell all my gear pretty quick and get a reasonable amount. And unlike some people I don't have the cash to throw around being in college, part time job and dealing with the family. After I spend that 200 or 3000 its applicable to only the Marauders or whatever else they call themselves. I would rather invest that 200 in gear, guns or idk my life.

Now I had fun playing with the Marauders at their field. Some games just sucked due to the people which is why I stuck to the Open Games. If this is what they want to do fine. It's their money and their field. This is a hobby to me and nothing else. I am not military nor do I see how this 150ft "tactical" training will help me.

And I know you in person. That mouth of yours will get you in trouble since sometimes you don't know when to shut up. Like saying my dad deserved the Darwin award for crashing and cutting open his arm. I heard it and your lucky I don't have a temper.

They changed their blog and added this:

Annual Passes are not $3K and will never be. Right now Annual Passes are slated to increase to $500 to help build the new field. This price increase is really directed for new players who have no experience with us, but plan on attending are games in the future. We know that those of you who have played at our games really like what we do, and will be smart enough to lock in at $200 for life or whatever negotiated price you have with Mike. The $3k price is planned for the future, when the field is officially open and loaded with structures, and any new players who want to be an official Marauder Member, get all their gear and uniforms, and all games/training at our field for free, as well as one national op admission paid for. Not sure, but I figure if you pay $3k a year you should also get you a new gun and uniform/gear for free every year, but this needs to be clarified by Mike.
