MrT, for someone who is so anti-airsoft arizona, you seem to keep coming back for more abuse.  You've only got six posts, and all of them are on this thread.  What is your deal?  Are you the newly designated sales rep for the MARAUDERS TACTICAL TRAINING INC?  I mean since they are charging such ridiculous rates they will need someone full time to shovel that load of s***. Every post you make only discredits the organization you seem to be so devoted to.  So I guess keep up the good work.  The marauders are counting on you!

Pay attention. I stated exactly who I am. I removed my old account becuase I thought I was done here. Unfortunalty I was wrong. So here I am to prove how gay the Marauders are. Please don't come out to our games because we are gay. We love shoveling shit. Now as much as I would like to continue this mindnumbing, dip shit, fucknut posting, I'm done here. So long... for real. I think. Maybe. If I get bored I might come back to remind you of how gay the marauders are.

Okay Ryan, you've *proved* your point.  End it.  I thought you were better than this, but I was wrong.  You obviously have changed into an immature little prick who probably is still sucking off his mother's tit.

I was wrong.  That doesn't happen very often.

He is the first link.

And now this should just be locked since its boiled down to name calling and we should not be recipricating the insults or even addressing them. The AA rules speak for themselves. Both sides have said their parts.

Oh yea and everything I say about the Marauders is, as I have said, my opinion unless its a quote from a marauders blog.

$20- field fee
$10- BB's used
$5- gas to get to field
$5- raffle tickets
free- G&G rk104
------------------------
ripoff?

I find it unfortunate that Marauders is going to a members only club, I had a great time out at the field, and would have been there again today if it weren't for money issues.

I find it more unfortunate to see such criticism levelled at individual persons for developing a business plan, publicizing it, and trying to make money. $3000 is way to much for me to spend on a hobby like airsoft. Rather than deriding a man (men, women, whoever) for choosing to set guidelines that I can't meet to play on HIS field, I'm going to behave in accordance with free market values. I won't buy a membership for prices that high.

Market forces dictate that "The Island" will either succeed, fail, or revamp its business model. If you don't like the price tag, don't buy the goods. If you've got it, and it looks like an appropriate value, then go for it.

Thanks for what you do, Mike. You were very polite and provided a great day for me. See you at Op:West Wing

Nobody's angry that he's making a business.  They are angry that he feels the need to charge such ridiculous prices to participate.  You apparently haven't be able to grasp the general theme of this thread, but hopefully now you do.

Well, if they don't want to pay, they don't have to. It is certainly not our place to judge someone who is trying to start a business. As driver stated, if the pricing does not work out, then he will have to change it. If it does, everyone here will have to eat a big plate of crow. Although I am sure you would be hard pressed to find many people around here who would pay such a fee for airsoft, there are certainly suckers born every minute.

If you guys have such a problem with the price, then don't buy a pass.  It's as simple as that.  And the $3000 price tag is NOT the current price.  Most of you guys have never even been out to a Marauders game, yet you still bad-mouth them.  I have been out to an AA game, and they are definately nothing to write home about.

For what? Expressing their opions?  Last time I checked freedom of speech and expression were still being upheld by the supreme court.

The reason that the Marauders charge money is because we have our OWN sanctioned field that we can LEGALLY play on and not worry about being shot by cops on.

I have never once heard of an AA sanctioned game ocurring illegally.  Anytime we play someone notifies the local authorities to give them a head's up as to what's going on and to get permission.

So if that, as you say, is the only reason Marauder's charges money, then there's a problem.
Since we all know, however, that the money isn't about legality, then maybe you should change your argument.

I'm not saying he's wrong to charge people, I'm just saying that the price tag is definitely not an issue of legality.

Maybe a game posted on this website, but you've never been to an Official AA game.

Hey, if Simpson wants to charge big bucks for his commercial enterprizes, so what? Don't like it, don't pay for it.

Don't like his biz ethics? okay. He's free to do whatever though. But I do admit I get a kick outta this BitchFest here though.  :D

I do give the Mauraders Games credit for giving the kiddos a place to play. -Were they exploited? Well, remember paintball places like Battlezone? If you do, 'nuff said.

Hi Vince, et al,, Hope Sarge is doing okay in Iraq.
See you on the (free) fields soon.

you say that most havn't been to a Marauders game, i for one have not.  looking at the pictures that South Paw or whoever puts up makes it easy for me to see why.  Why would i pay money to run in the desert with kids who are like 13-15, with half ass gear and guns mommy and daddy bought them, being "tactical".  Dont get me wrong i'm glad the guy is an entrepreneur, and started a buisness, good job.  i've never been to an offical AA game, wish i have, but havn't.  However i've been to an unoffical game, several actually, and i've had the time of my life, in SASCO, BT, 4 Peaks, etc. To me it looks like paintball, which isn't what i want.
