VFC BAR
« on: March 19, 2007, 11:02:07 PM »
I was on WGC today and noticed that VFC is in the process of producing a BAR, seems pretty pricey at $1,500, but its a BAR!   :)

Just seems pretty impressive, but a lot to lug around in the field.  I'm just glad to see more and more WWII guns being made for airsoft.

That's the CNC limited edition version.  Only 20 are being made.  The standard versions are supposed to be about $500.

I want to see how that Inokatsu one turns out, inokatsu always seems to go over the top with their high end weaponry and conversion kits.

I'd assume that the Inokatsu BAR is anything like the M60's, it'll be amazing.  That is, if Inokatsu continues to make airsoft guns...  As for VFC, I have nothing but amazing things to say about their internals and can't imagine their guns being anything but awesome.

But than again, a few years back that's what everybody thought about ICS' "revolutionary" split-gearbox design

True, but ICS never really had a good track record to begin with.  I have one of Inokatsu's M60's and it's unbelievable.  I have also fired several VFC's  (416 and AKS 74)  and am almost equally impressed with them.

No doubt man, I'm just poking some humor.

A CNC BAR is a bit much.

I don't want airsoft gun companies to use high tech Japanese processes to make my guns.  I want them to be made the same way the real thing is made.

I want an AK that is stamped, has rivets, and will rust.  I want an M4 that has a parked receiver that will weather and nick like mine.

Airsoft gun companies need to come to America and go handle and fire some assault rifles more often.

Agreed, I am actuly going to take some steel wool to my chicom MP40. They in reality were stamped it mass prodution so it should look like a stamped wartorn gun.
