THe inner barrel length on the P90 is 247mm - same length as the CAR15 and UZI.  The MP5 inner barrels are only 18mm less in length.
I sold my P90 a week after I got it simply because the gun was too small for me - it wouldn't "shoulder" comfortably (I'm 6'2").  Now though, they do make the stock extender which also allows for a larger battery...

I just could not bring myself to purchase a P90. Too odd looking for me. I know that's a personal preference thing, though. I'm perfectly happy w/ my MP5. Lots of accessories for it too.

I'd probably own a P90 (correction:  I would proabably HAVE OWNED a P90 at some point...) if not for the length.  Same issue as Paco.  Great gun, great feel, and those that I have fired functioned perfectly.  In fact, Turd fired off an entire hi-cap magazine once with only one slight turn of the gear wheel.  That isn't supposed to be possible.  P90s are too small for me, but so are standard MP5s.  If I could choose between them and be comforatble either way, I'd get both!

That's my one defense...I've been married for nearly ten years to the same woman.  The longest I've ever owned a single airsoft gun is...wait...just sold it.  Hmmm...

Sorry to stray from the topic!
Seriously, if your arm length allows for it the P90 is a good gun.  It's no less "long range" than an MP5 really, and far less cumbersome.

Paco, you said that they make extensions for the P90 now-a-days... I had seen those a long time ago and thought it was a good idea just for the extra juice anyways, but how much of an extension do they give you? If you've got a link that would help too... I'll go search Den for 'em or something too.

yeah... i just found them on Den-trinity too... those stinking things are expensive (and that's not to mention the battery!). I'll bet I could work me up one of those things out of aluminum. Thanks for the links too.

Ok, I've handled an Mp5 before, to me they seem kinda small... I'm  just about 6'1, do you think it would be harder for me to shoulder a p90 than an Mp5a5 with fully extended stock? Is the length from the grip to the but of the stock shorter than the Mp5a5 (extended)? *Not the gun itself, but from grip to but of stock.*

regardless of the actual length from shoulder to grip, the P90 will feel much shorter to you because of the "lack" of a front end.  It feels very compact.

The thing I don't like about it is hand placement. Both hands are unusually close together. To me that is why it feels so compact. To me, anyway. But what do I know?

Just got mine TODAY!  Used 1 bag of normal BBs and 1 bag of tracer BBs getting to know her better.  I like it!  I like it A LOT!  It'll be even more fun once I put together a better battery.  I'll see you guys at the next game.

I'd also like to add that DEN ROCKS!!
