Anyone know if an EBR kit will fit the TM M14 SOCOM?
« on: April 14, 2007, 08:56:15 PM »
Just curious if any of you M14 fans knew if the SOCOM would fit an EBR kit.  I assume they are identical (less barrel length, muzzle, and heat shield) to the standard M14 and therefore would fit, but would rather be sure before purchasing it.

The M14 SOCOM is just an M14 with a different outer barrel and flash hider on it.

It won't really be a 'SOCOM' anymore if you buy the G&P kit. It comes with the Mk14 USN front barrel set with the SEI Vortex and 'Tritium' front sight post.

Understood, I just wanted to be sure that if I got the SOCOM version now that I could ultimately add the EBR body kit to it at a later date, at which point I'd sell the SOCOM 'kit'.
