For the record, this event will hopefully take place - but it will take months to figure it all out.  I'll be talking with some acting friends of mine, as well as some directors for some assistance.

I have a ton more ideas (yes including melees, and poisons etc..) but I dont want to spill them here, in the chance of "giving away" some excellent ideas and sub-plots.

But the general architecture of your packet would include...

Devotion: Who you work for and why...and how important it is.

Objective: Your objective, which..if accomplished and you "escape" means big points.

Bonus Objective: Extra points...but some of these will involve "turning" on allies, etc etc.

Equipment: what you're allowed to carry - some will have guns, some SMGs (paid security guards...<--- not saying none of them dont have "objectives" also...)...some people will have weapons stored in a specific location that they will have to locate before use...stuff like this may involve...flash-drives, cameras, pistols, detonators, cash, drugs...the possibilities are endless.  These would be placed by the referees before the game...if you "happen" upon something by accident...might be worth a steal (you could totally screw someone else's objectives).

Contacts: other players who are working as allies...or "secret identities" that you are aware of --- also included will be code words...you may have to find an ally, but you wont know off the bat, who it is...(but...what if someone else is clued in on your "code" word?...uh oh)

There MAY even be players present that you dont even know about...players who are recruited by me, who dont come to the pre-game meeting, etc...after all, not everyone is an invited guest.

Like I said...months and months, lol...but I'm quite set on pulling it off - I'll just need to role-play it a bunch.  I'm an amateur game designer, so that hopefully helps me flush out some rules.

Even if it fails...a nice dinner with some friends (most of whom are trying to kill you), would be worth an evening.

I doubt there would be any fees involved, unless something odd comes up...maybe a small donation for food, or - if there is some outstanding location used, etc.

While the players would be limited...we could even have "non" player guests, for those who want to come and watch the events unfold, but I'm not sure...still in the early phases of thought processing.

Nice to see the response though - I'll keep you guys updated, as I'm just now starting to put this all down on paper.

Love the idea.

If the game is going to be after the first week of September, I'd definitely attend since I'll be 18.

Just an update...I was off for 8 days, so I'm back...

I'm just working on back-story, and how the game would play out right now, I'm glad to see the enthusiasm...in a couple months it should be down-right delicious.

I'll be in touch!

  :P

Sounds interesting, an airsoft scenario that doesn't involve the insurgent/guerilla, PMC, or standard military uniform. If this gets enough support, I wouldn't mind dressing up more formally with some CQB type weapons hidden under my coat.

Hey guys, I sent Kilo an IM....I have moved (closer to Phoenix), and have been incredibly busy with a number of things...this is still in my mind's eye...but I have not made great strides yet...

I am definitely still working on it - when I get to the point when I need help, let me know - in fact...if you guys could IM me your email addresses, I'll start an email group for people who want to help planning/producing the scenario.

I have some friends from work who are now interested as well...
