TM Hop up question

having severe range issues with my new metal hop-up that came with my hurricane body.  onyl shoots about TOPS 20 yards, than swoops down.  everyone here says its the hop up.  but the bucking is new, and the unit is new.  adjustment either way doesnt really make much of a differeance.

HELP!

It seems to me (I could be mistaken) that the HurricanE hopup doesn't come with a packing.  Might be wrong though.

no it didnt come with one.  after taking it apart it appears to have gone AWOL, must report him up the CoC.

been fixed all is well at a rock hard consistant 399fps with 20's
