Echo1 doesn't use CA gears.
The guy at APD (Mike) said that the Echo 1 M14 has CA gears. So some of the others might as well.

the gears are just branded CA. it could mean anything. if i heard right echo one gears and CA gears are almost made from the same identical material but they are made in different ways. CA gears are way better.

Well i'm with paul on this one. I personally like the cheaper mid grade gun's. as long as i can weil some plastic at a reasonable range and reach my objective. I remember way back when it didnt matter what kind of brand your gun was, and that was 5 years ago playin with the addicts. and like what paul said, most guys like paul for example, make bad ass guns out of scratch pieces and put together a good quality rifle. Ive had him build me a couple guns before an s.r.c. was one of them and that thing was better than most brand name guns i've owned. I also remember goin to op restore order w/ an inferior stock mp5 and loved it. I also used that mp5 for lion claws3 w/ full internal upgrades then fucked up. so i agree with paul that it's w/ the user and how he "treats" the gun, not the brand name.

I own TM, and CA, as well as a few Chinese "TM compatable".  I just bought an Echo1 MP5K as a sidearm and am very impressed with it right out of the box.  I don't know about you guys but I have not had an AEG that I did not mod.  Thus why spend the extra $$$ on something that is not going to end up with the falable parts.
