More commonly called The Battle of the Bulge by Allied Troops. Operation Autumn Mist was the Axis code word for the offensive. Early in the morning of December 16, 1944, Thousands of German troops and brand new tanks attacked along allied forces in the Ardennes Forces, forceing the surprised Allied troops to retreat. The Americans were surrounded at Bastogne, until General Patton was able to reach them, and the Allied push toward Germany continued until the Battle was declared over on January 7, 1945.

I have about 3 people interested in joining. I have a couple questions though. First, I have a UTG Master Sniper, can I go with my scope on, or should i remove it? Is there anyway to rent an airsoft at a local place?

You will have to remove the scope. You can use your iron sights if you have them. And unfortunately, there is no place to rent a rifle that I know off. I will have two extra guns, but the renter must buy his own burlap for the rifles.

Wow, thats crazy, sorry to be slightly off topic, but my home team from the Northeast (just moved here), Oct Luft (Acht is spelt wrong I know), has a WW2 division (I am not a member unfortunately), called the 3rd Fallschirmjäger.  Kinda ironic no?

Either way, as much as I would love to dump the money and join my team's historical side, I can't make the event.  Good luck though and hope it turns out well!

Here are the weapon rules. The M16 is allowed.

Quote
Go: M14, M1 Garand, Thompson, M1 Carbine, M3 Grease gun, MP44, MP40, Kar98, Armalite’s, AK47, any bolt action rifle, etc…

No Go: P90, Famas, AUG, G36, G3 SAS, MP5K, guns that would not in any way look the part.

What needs to be done to make them look authentic?

Because there aren’t many WWII airsoft guns at reasonable prices, one way you can “disguiseâ€￾ your non-period gun is to take off all new accessories (scopes, red dots, flashlights, etc.) then go to your local fabric store or anywhere that would carry burlap and pick some up. Wrap your gun with the burlap, leaving things like mag releases and selector switches easily accessible, and tie it on with some twine and your good to go. All M14s are only allowed to fire in semi-auto mode.

This will be held more near Strawberry. It's woods, with snow predicted.

It will, but the Black Mags are required. Not the colored ones.
