Suggestions for dealing with full Goggles and fogging

Hey all,
So with Balkan Hammer coming up I need to make the move from a wrap around safety glass style eye protection to a fully sealed goggle.  I have tried 2 or 3 models so far and have a recurring issue with fogging.  Can some of you guys that use fully sealing goggles give me some tips on how I can get around this, is there an after market spray compound I should use, a particular model that works better the others?  Obviously if I had th cash the ESS turbofans would be the way to go but since I have a limited budget I'm looking for something more in the $30 to $40 area if possible.  Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

At the Bushmaster Op my Oakleys fogged up as soon as I put the shmegh wrap on, I used fogtech wipes that I got from Ron at the Gearbox booth for a 1$ and even in the rainy and humid conditions there was no fogging. For low profile sealed protection I've been using Wiley X Xl-1, but Peltor and I think one other company make near identical ones for a bit cheaper

I know some guys have solved the issue simply by ripping out the foam that lines the sides of of the goggles.  This improves airflow significantly.

I did that at strawberry but i still have fogging issues, I have ESS Land Ops.

But at bushmaster, As soon as I put the wrap, I fogged up. Wiped down my lenses and never had a problem all day even with the morning rain. Later I had the shmegh around my neck though.

I would suggest stocking up on those little wipe packs next time you go to The Gearbox, they are easy to keep in gear and wont crack or leak like the bottle.

I figured that with the body heat being shunted to your face like that, your goggles would fog up. I think I may invest in some of those wipes, I have got some Wiley X SG-1s that still fog up like crazy.

Fog tech works really really well.  Tested in really bad conditions.  Only drawback is do not get a bunch of sweat on your googles, because as soon as you rub them off you also rub off the anti-fog. Also a lot of sweat or rain can wash the anti-fog off as well,  so you may run into an occasion where a second application is needed.

Thanks for the tipsleads guys, I was able to track down the creator of fogtech, Gene, this afternoon.  He is going to shoot a small sample of the wipes to me out here in Tucson to give a shot and provide a short review on.  I'll be sure to cross post it here as well for those folks who have not tried them out yet.  I'm hearing great stuff about them so am excited.

Fogtech TYPE Wipes  NOT FOG TECH  but none the less they work well to-----> can also be purchased at BASS PRO in packs.

Speaking of cheap substitutes, dawn dish washing liquid works as well.  But I have not throughly tested it as much as the FogTech.

However, once you start sweating, and a little bit of sweat hits that soap, it creates a fucking mustard gas concoction that will have you ripping your goggles off as fast as physically possible.

What kind of sweat do you produce that will create a mustard gas solution when combined with dishwashing soap?  Man you are toxic, I knew it!
