My only comment is that I can see this degrading into a Marauders style of game VERY quickly.  A low minimum age combined with a cash prize is just asking for trouble.

Depending on what my schedule looks like, I might get a few guys from the team and head out there.

On a related note, I would love to see mini-support out there mowing down rows of them with the Vulcan.

You may as well give him the prize money as soon as he shows.

too much faith in one man with one gun... dont get me wrong, it would be hard, but all you need is one guy with cover and a line of sight... done...

I think it would help a lot of these guys to feel more comfortable playing if you institute some sort of physical pain penalty for cheating, to keep people in line. Maybe like an execution wall at 25 feet.

Just a thought...God Bless Everyone!

\"And Shepherds we shall be
For thee, my Lord, for thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand
Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls shall it ever be…â€￾

there will be no executions... heres how it is going to be, all teams will have a player working as a ref, if anyone has a conflict i will decide who is disqualified based on the situation. that is the only punishment. disqualification from the tournament, loss of rights to return to future rebel union events, including weekly games. by the way, second prize is a set of 4 gas non blowback berettas, third is 4 bags of pellets

also arizona paintball depot has entered a team, 5 or 6 other teams have contacted me, so the brackets should fill. and everyone needs to remember, this is for fun, bottom line, your only paying 5 dollars a person to enter, thats cheaper than any game besides ours.

no... paint ballish would be wearing brightly colored clothing, hiding behind inflatable "cover" things called doritos, blind fireing your AEG at nothing while propping the stock on top of your shoulder...

now two fire team sized opponents going head to head using milisim tactics in an effort to win a little cash is while wielding an AEG (correctly   ) and wearing their gear is definately airsoft
you ever watch any videos of military cqb training?

I have to interject here, airsoft has never been anything about winning money and should never be the case.  This goes against every strand of my being as an airsofter and I feel strongly against airsoft even considering the idea.  To me this is one cornerstone of how paintball became what it is today.

And you must of missed this memo about Hi-caps

yes they are encouraged, the tournament is not a mil sim, therefor i am encouraging aggressive tactics.

As stated above and I'll add that I feel this is anything but mil sim.

Im attacking the idea here not a particular person.

Yeah... I was thinkin more along the lines of the way my guys and i would play it, we would do this milsim... no hi caps, and working like we do on the field. I actually like playing against guys with hi caps. Makes it a bit more fun when you shoot em lol.

And i wasnt saying to go to win money, im more interested that it adds a competative side to arisoft. im a very competative person and this gives me a bit more of a chance to compete, dont really care about the money... thats just an added bonuns

Shhh  :P

Besides I figure you'd need to be exposed to him a couple of times to understand how it all works. Just trying to take him on upon your first encounter, with no prior experience will probably not end well. Believe it or not he's still relatively fast and agile despite all the gear he has to carry, but that's to be expected when he's already been to so many games with it.
