he can bring whatever as long as its not over 400 fps, and it will be chrono'd, and for the love of god its 160 dollars here, your all whining about this being against airsoft, its not even alot of money, it was something that i can reward first with, i didnt have any sponsors for the event at that time. and ask anyone who has been to a rebel union game, they are some of the most active games you can play, why dont you all come out and try the field, its the same place we are playing the tournament. i really dont know what else to say, im very dissapointed in the airsoft community right now, if this is our hobby, this is what we do for fun, how come i have to pull teeth to get people to come out and play, if you ask me from what ive seen if airsoft does turn and losses its fun, its not because of money, its because of the attitudes of the players.

Why do you have to pull teeth to get people out to play games?  For me the reason being is the fact that the field location is in the city and way to close to houses........maybe I'm just too "old school." No one had ever heard of airsoft and 9/11 was still vivid. Plus there were (and probably still are) laws against discharging BB guns within most city limits without meeting specific criteria. That's just me.

As for money adding competition to airsoft, I just dont see it.  Wrong reason to be competitive is all.  I too compete, but I compete to complete my mission/objective.   If I can complete all my objectives without firing a shot, I would be more happy than if I had shot 10 opfor to do the same thing. I only fail if I do not complete them or I do not have fun while meeting other honorable players. I "win" even when I "lose" as long as I learn from what happened.  I compete against myself to improve myself and my teamwork.  This is all I need. I don't need any other reasons to compete in airsoft.  I think and hope that most feel the same as I do.

Airsoft is just a tool.  How you decide to use that tool is up to you.

If you dont like the game style, dont worry about it, dont show up, and let those of us who are interested decide on whether it is worth our while or not...

I think some of you guys are getting a little to emotional about this.  If you don't want to go you don't have too.  You don't even have to read the thread if you don't want to.
No need to keep on keeping on about your reasons.

This post is about their game, lets try to stay on topic okay boys?

Well, it's definitely like pulling teeth to get people to play up here... we know several people who say "yeah I play airsoft" but of course they can't ever actually make it to a game. Which is unfortunate because there are some really good places to play up here in Flag... Anyways, the tournament sounds like a really good time and if I can get the team to commit, we'll be there.

What time of day is it going to start? Morning, evening, etc.  i don't have a team but would love to participate in the open games afterwards.
Also if someone's honor and integrity are going to be jeopardized by, or are only worth 160 dollars, then they probably shouldn't be involved in any games.
