Steno Game At SASSCO 20th Oct 07, at 7am
« on: September 21, 2007, 07:42:51 PM »
Ok it's been awhile but were going to host a game down at Sassco on the 20th of October.  Hopefully ya'll can make it.  were going to try to make it a scenario type with in-game inputs to make things interesting.

Update for this is.  We need 25 (at lease) for Aggressors and 25 (at lease) for defenders.  Defenders will be using an item that we built and the aggressors will be moving in to disable or aquire it.

Looking to make this a night game.  Hopefully we will be able to get enough people.  and for the T.A.C. guys what are you guys looking like for attendees?  latz

UPDATE: 16 October 2007 2340hrs

SORRY but my internet was turned off and im leaching off another guy untill COX pulls their head out of their butts.

OK here it is.  We (as in Steno) will be showing up at the game area around 0530-0600.  we will be getting props and items of interest up and ready by 0700.  we will have an initial brief at the CQB area around 0710-0730.  we will then transport personel to staging area and have commanders set up thier teams.  then GAME ON AT 0800.
Spiek will give the specifics on what is to be expected.  Again sorry for not letting ya'll know. Also we will probably make this a evenning game if we have enough players.

Cross posted this to TAC in hopes of getting some more interested parties, unless something eats up that weekend I'm in for sure.  I wear Desert MARPAT and am fine with either side but prefer to be on the same team as my Desert Hawks team mates.

I might be up for that, I will see who else I can drag along.  We going to have people running ferry's (if needed) across the river?  I'm not about to take my Eclipse through that.

No preference on team, expect me to wear non standard gear.

Ok so I'll track a sign up sheet on TAC for you and submit at intervals.  If you'd like to check it at any time here is the thread:

SCUM and Desert Hawks would love to help you in any planning matter you have so if you need any sort of planning, props, or command corp, and need bodies for it, let us know and I'll be happy to facilitate that.  Looking forward to it.

I was afraid to take my mustang through as i had gotten stuck in there before, but i saw honda civics and toyota camry's keeping up with the big rigs....i just don't understand the physics....maybe i just need to fill my car with bricks to maintain traction...i don't know....but it would be nice if we could find out who's going to be out there when so they can show up and if needed hitch-hike the rest of the way....

If the water was anything like it was last weekend -- I'd be REAL careful.

No need to risk it, enough folks with trucks will be coming through... just make sure to show up early enough to be waiting for a shuttle lift!  I usually check by the cattle farm and by the Santa Cruz on my way in for souls hoofing it.
