IF YOU HAVE POLICE TELL YOU DO SOMETHING DO IT, if you have the time and it all works out well; then he/she did not over react or get trigger happy and shoot you,
yeah it sucks to drop or toss your aeg but it will save your life,

KEEP your mouth shut, be polite, live to play again some other day, tell them you understand 100% about  the confusion.....

now-

there are countries in the world where guns have never been legal to own by legal citizens JAPAN  and yet the YAKUSA have machine guns and whatever they want, law abidding citizen don't

Colombia has never had the law allowing you to own hand guns, and yet bad guys still have them with the strict laws and all.

Australia imposed the gun ban a couple years back and  in one area over 6 months crimes of all types went up 80% cause no one can PROTECT  them self.

ENGLAND: sure folks don't get shot (bull) but they have the highest rate for death-injury due to stabbing and blunt force  (lead-steel pipe smack to the heads)

we have guns cause we kicked the Brits out with them, we kept them cause our founding fathers said we have 'the responsibity to over throw our own govermnet' that means it is our duty , WHEN THEY BECOME TYRANICAL !  not for shooting rabbits, targets, clay pigeons, .................

thanks be to the men that have gone to war to sacrifice them selves so that I can stand here today and say what I want when I want  in americanENGLISH, NOT Spanish-French-German-Jap. Chinese........If not for the brave men of the Korean war My WIFE'S FAMILY WOULD NOT HAVE SURVIVED.

look intO Why WE HAVE THE GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO ARM OURSELVES IN THE SAME MANNER AS OUR GOVERMENT.

Sorry to Rant but some folks don't read the entire article 'right to bear arms' to some it means it's time to roll up your sleeves or why do BEARS need arms

ARMS  not GUNS, the same weapons they have we are SUPPOSE to have access to, we are the last MILITIA in case the country got over run.

Krash you are absolutely right 100%.

Now if people would think about it.. WHEN has banning something EVER made it better ? It has always GOT WORSE! Legalize certain drugs and people wont do it so much... it's common sense. PEOPLE do this shit because its ILLEGAL

Airsoft isnt a drug it ... It's a damn sport. Good luck to them ever banning a Sport.

They also have to think about the economy as well. There are a hell of a lot of companies that are based in the US Web or otherwise that strictly sell just Airsoft equip ..  Look at what it would do .

Hell if they want to bitch and complain about something that is derogitive to our way of life.. How about deal with the issues of outsourcing .... Ban that bullshit.

Ya'll need to settle down a bit. In reality this was probably one story done by a green reporter who didn't do all their research and I find it VERY hard to believe that Fox News of all afilliates would give airsofters a hard time. They are far from doing so to the NRA.

I don't agree with much of anything that comes from the media either, (I get my news from the Daily Show thank you very much!) so I can relate to how you feel.

It'll all blow over like it always does, this isn't the first negative press Airsoft has ever had and we're still here in force.

Nate, did it hurt when you fell of the face of the Earth?

What's new dude?  Shoot me a PM.

Back on topic, we all get a good laugh when we see something that went down here on the news, with the usual "clarity" ( ) the US media brings to it.  Fox isn't immune to this, by the way.

Besides, airsofters have already done a fine job of earning the label of asshat on several internet forums, and without the help of the media!  To the majority of non-airsofters, we're all a bunch of punk-ass, teenage kids with poor grammar that would rather buy the cool gear and pretend to be SEALs than man-up and join the military.

krash, you ever read any Heinlein?  Your attitude is common these days among freedom-loving Americans, but not free of faults.  If we ever meet, let's talk. ;)

I actually researched that and came across many statistics and figures not only for Australian gun laws, but U.S. ones too and even though I don't agree with many things the NRA or other rifle associations believe, I have to agree that due to all this evidence, it is quite clear that it is a total myth that strict gun laws correlate to a decrease in gun violence.

So the issue isn't gun control for legal firearms, its trying to stop the use of misappropriated/illegal firearms in the commission of a crime?

So seriously, how hard is it to find the focus of the problem? Is one side just so hell bent on imposing their views that they fail to see a potentially lethal failing in their argument?

Yeah and we should trust a bunch of suits who are clearly subject matter experts on the topic of law enforcement as it pertains to airsoft.

Maybe if they got actual LEOs on their programs and stopped trying to speak for them, I'd take what the media tends to say about airsoft more seriously.

Im sorry but not many people give credit to Fox "explorative" studies anymore.  Especially after the "epic lulz" segment.  They are quite pathetic on trying to do research into primarily internet grown pheonomena.  That petition could reach one million signees and Fox wouldn't care, because the money keeps flowing from the advertisers because freaked moms like that sort of stuff so they can find another reason to be over-protective in this "time of terror".

Fox News in this situation is as credible as a used car salesman in Mexico.
