Thanks Ares, we have gotten alot of good feedback about the SRBG area in the past and thought it would make the ideal backup site. RSD happens to fall at a point in the winter where no hunt is ongoing in the area so the Forest Service has cleared us. This might be the last chance we get up there before we need to start packing out the snow camo.
Also, with the added bonus that it gets rid of an admission fee for a recreational area people are hitting me with alot of positive feedback on the change for this op, even if it was somewhat last minute.
Any idea on what the current number of people is? It sounds like a great op and I think I counted 12 on the roster? My friend and I would like to go but I don't think I'll get him to budge for 12 guys...not when we're coming from Mesa...
Those interested in total turn out, we are now into the mid 20's for attendance, and climbing.
As far as age is concerned, it operates under the TAC rule set which means 18 and over is welcome, 16 and 17 welcome with a liability consent waiver, 14 and 15 welcome only when sponsored by a mentor (essentially an older player of 18+ who plays regularly with us and who can vouch for them). Any questions or want to clear a waiver or sponsorship? PM me or Reaver direct.
Please RSVP if your looking to come out. A RSVP head count allows us to better plan scenarios, needed supplies such as extra bio bb's, and get additional raffle prize support due to interest from a larger number then anticipated. Thank you all for your support and remember if nothing else this event supports a great cause by providing toys for children who might not have a holiday otherwise.
