Team Saguaro Hosting: Four Peaks Sunday, Dec. 2nd 2007
« on: November 26, 2007, 10:35:07 AM »
Nick Tunnell, infinitydragon11 here on the forums and a brother in Team Saguaro's ranks is doing us all proud. He's joined the Marines (OORAH!) and is shipping out to basic on December 10th. To commemorate the event, Team Saguaro is hosting one last airsoft event for Nick on December 2nd, this Sunday at the Four Peaks AO.

Help Team Saguaro send off one of their finest and mark December 2nd on your calendars as THE DAY to bring out your A game and give our brother Nick an early start in SERE and Desert Warfare training. READ: If you think you've got game; bring the heat. Team Saguaro is looking forward to another great outing with AA's awesome forum members as always and the invitation is open to all.

Be aware we want to get in early on Sunday to enjoy the cool weather, so meet time will be at the usual Conoco gas station off of the 87 highway by 0630. We roll out no later than 0650 for the AO.

Sound's great. How far away is the AO from the Conoco, and any chance of getting directions? Also, do you need 4wd to access it or will most vehicles be able to make it? Lastly, any camo requirements or restrictions?

When I talked to you about this I thought you said the 8th...
This date works for me and I'll be sure to drag some of the regulars out as well.  But I'll only be bringing my "B" game though.  Don't want spend all my "A" game credits too soon, I'll need them for the weekend after this one ;)

I may be there with a 4-15 person group depending of course.  I have some questions:  What should we wear for Camo?  What type of Eyeprotection can we wear?  Alot of us have shooting glasses but only a few have true full seal goggles?  FPS Rules?  What are the Four Peaks road conditions?  Last time i went (a year ago) they were "ok" and not really suitable for cars.

Also for sure we will have 4, One of them (sDobbins here on the forums)  will have Excel .23 gram bb's for sale at the field for $15 a bag.  He has 28 bags of Excel .23's.  If you'd like to purchase them you can buy them at the game.

Hope to see some of you guys out there.

:(

Hopefully I don't have to work this Sunday...

It's very unlikely that I'll get two whole weekends off in a row... maybe if it was this Saturday...

I'll stay posted...

one... dont worry about camo, were gonna do a "balkanhammeresque" scenario in terms of team identification. basically colors arent gonna matter,
wont go to much into it here, but it worked very well at BH

two... take the 101 to shea (its on the east side) and take that east until you hit the 87, then make a left and follow that until you see the conaco sign on your left...

three... i thought mikey's A game was his B game...  :o

four... usual fps and eye pro rules apply; nothing over four hundred, full seal not required (unless youre a little kiddie under 17)

five... any other questions, PM gauge or I...

Colors didn't matter, but patterns did.

Mikey are we going to wear OTS?  PM me.
