Myself +1... Roughly how far past Shea on 87, is the Conoco station? It's been awhile since being up that way. Thanks and see you there!

The Conoco is approximately one mile north of the intersection of Shea Blvd and Hwy 87 on Hwy 87.  It is the next stop light from there.

The AO is another 15 miles north on the 87 from there.  Turn right into the Four Peaks Recreation Area (big sign), go down that dirt road for 2 miles.  At this point you will come to a T intersection.  Turn right, and follow that dirt road for another 4 miles after which you will come right up and down into a valley were the AO is.  NOTE:  Make sure you pay attention to your odometer for that 2 mile point!  The right turn is hard to see as you can keep going straight without knowing you passed it.  It is a maintained dirt road so cars are safe.

I have driven a Nissan sentra in, it's not bad. There are a few spots that I could see being slightly washed out over time which could eventually give cars a harder time.  Cars should be ok, I say should because I havent been there in about 6-8months but for the last 4 yrs its been fine. Just don't rally it and puncture a hole in your oil pan....Or ride in with someone so you can look over the road on your way in and make your own determination for next time.

That's the day before my Chem and English finals, and three days before my Calc and Engineering finals.

So, obviously, I'll be there.  ACU.
