Gear & stuff

Couple more questions,

Are we going to be able to store extra water, food & back up gear somewhere in the field?  I'm just trying to work out how much gear I should plan to carry with me.  That and my AEG's have a bad habit of dying mid Op.

Were gaming on Sunday right?  And if so how long.  It says on the schedule, return to FOBs.  But does not elaborate beyond that.

Yes you can carry extra and drop it at the FOB once we hit the field.  I usuakkt pack my food and water on my person and leave a spare AEG at the FOB in case mine dies mid game.  Extra batteries and mags are also good to carry but dont bring BB's they are provided and ammo is intentionally limited.

Sunday usually wraps up late morning and ten back to the barracks to clean up and see the aswards ceremony/raffle.

Is there anyway I could grab some directions to Camp Navajo from Phoenix?  I can't get anything that means much to mean off of the Combat Challenge website.

Looking forward to it, getting half a day off to make it up there in enough time.

Really easy trip to make:

1. Turn right to merge onto I-17 N toward Flagstaff 140 mi

2. Take exit 340B to merge onto I-40 W/Purple Heart Trail toward Los Angeles 10.4 mi

3. Take exit 185 for TransWestern Rd toward Bellemont

4. At top of off ramp turn south and cross the I40, this road (transwestern) takes you to the front gate.

Once on base, head south untill you hit a T bone.  Turn left at the T-bone and the mess hall is the first or second building on your right hand side.  The barracks are just south and west of that location.  Park in the south loop near the picnic tables and awning and then report to registration to get lodging assignments.

Registration should be a pop up awning between the mess hall and the barracks.

Remember you need a valid ID to get through the gates, no speeding on base, and keep your weapons stowed so the guards don't get spooked.

If your more of a graphical kind of person:

North most marker is on top of the barracks we stayed in last time.  The mess hall is just north and east and the parking area we used is directly south.

Great OP.  Thanks to all the sponsors and organizers, I had a great time.

Oh and f*** you Americans.  Get out of our country!

And this pic more or less sums up the most "OH FUCK SHIT" moment for the Belarus and Russian side.  Especially for us Belarusians enjoying "lunch" with our packs and guns on the ground up the road from there:

"Hey guys, I don't think they are eating lunch anymore"

On sunday my son asked me if I was a hero during the war.  I sad no, but I served with a squad of them,     RED 2 [smilie=armata_pdt_07.gif] .        By that time he was already shushing me because sponge bob was on.

Red 2's biggest heroes were our SAW gunners. I love you madmen!

Oh, and the guys who came to save me when I was cut off after the ambush. I was all lonely and stuff. not to mention sweatin' bullets when those humvees were rolling around close to me in my open field.

Trees can really screw up a perfect grenade throw.

Well, a potentially perfect grenade throw.

LOL!  You guys were not the only ones who feared those humvees.  I got shot so many times in that open humvee, I refused a ride back to camp on it.
