From what I understand, he can participate, as long as you two are on the same team.

No. People build a camo/equipment platform for authenticity. Last BH I had an M-4 when I was on the Serb special forces.

Like striker said the uniform pattern and load out should be priority, weapons, while strongly encouraged to match the role (such as AKs etc for Russians/Belarussian) are not required.  Staff may change that in the future as the event becomes even more popular but last I checked the above is how it was running.

I was looking around in the official web site and i don't see anything about camo... just want to ask if my team have different camo can we stay together or we have to group in with people who have the same camo? Because me and my buddy have ACU while 2 others have multi, i think one person have woodland, and one with desert.

There was a continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday.

No lunch ever.

Dont think so.  But they can confirm it.  I believe the goal here is to be a bit more milsim, thus trying to have units that wear the same uniform.  If you have 6 or more guys on your team, who all want to wear 6 color desert then that would be acceptable. You would have to contact the organizers to request that.  Having a unit where one guy wears woodland, then marpat, then tigerstripe and then ACU  isn't going to help the goal. But go ahead and ask them for clarification.

I'll probably be going whenever I sign up. Is anyone else going as KSK? If not I may have to buy some Marpat or ACU.
And;

Uniform Requirements

The following is a list of teams and allowed uniforms:

    * US Rangers - ACU
    * Austrailian Commandos - AUSCAM
    * US Marines - Woodland Marpat
    * US Special Forces - Multicam
    * Russian Spetsnaz - Russian Pattern (Kamysh, etc...)
    * British Commandos - Woodland DPM
    * Ukranian Military - Tiger Stripe
    * Belarus Military - Woodland BDU's
    * German KSK - Flectarn
    * Belarusian Militia - Combination of Civilian, Russian or Belarus Military

* NOTE: Teams must have a minimun of 6 players. Any team with less than 6 players will be asked switch to their alternate uniform. Combat Challenge does reserve the right to restrict the size and number of units in order to maintian an acceptable level of target identification and realism.

* NOTE: If your 6 to 12 man team has a special unit they would like portray, please contact HQ at hq(at)airsoftchallenge.com before March 1st 2008..

I figured this would save some of the headache.
