I should be in +1 as well, not sure if we're doing a seperate attendance thread or if this is a bit pre-mature?

This is fine. We are still working on the web site but this will work for now. We are finalizing the scenario which involves more than just a story. We have to see if the scenario is logistically feasible when you consider the vehicles and equipment that we put into the event itself. Yes, we shoot at each other, but there is way more to it than that. We have something new for you in this event that will test more than just your combat skills.

HAHA. Peace keeping? Yea, ummmm...No. It's more like a failure to keep the peace. We are trying to put together events that have real world potential for a possible conflict. This is why we do the research that some of you may have read on the airsoft challenge forum. Once we get a scenario ironed out, we then have to make adjustments for the feasibility. Remember, vehicles are only one dynamic of our events. Does everyone remember the downed pilot scenario? The recon pod recovery? We have something new in store for you and have to get the details worked out. I could tell you but then...well...you know....

Alright I'm ready to jump straight into some action. I just hope you guys get the word out on the factions involved. I've been itching to buy more gear.

Agreed on getting word out, I think if you can have it out this week some of us can capitalize on the holiday gift giving season and maybe pan out some decent costumes, weapons, gear etc.

I already ordered some Flora BDU's and vest from Russia. Now all I need is a nice pair of black boots.

Or get in contact with a lot of the guys on here that have been to our events before. Instead of me selling my our event, I would rather have people that have been there give you an un-biased opinion.

Balkan Hammer f-ing rocked.  I'm in for this one, no doubt.

"What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist."  The Marine shrugged and replied, "Recoil."

Which means we want to be wearing MARPAT to this one, although woodland wasn't too bad.  :P

There are of course the same SFOR patterns. Russian, Belarus and the Ukraine are the other factions available.

Sweet!  Looks like the RD staff have most of the site updates done and have details for folks now here:
http://airsoftchallenge.com

Based on the uniform mappings Desert Hawks will be contributing 7 (possibly 8 ) players to the ranks of the Belarus Military Regulars (Tiger Stripe Patterns).  See you on the field.

Oh and by the way, big thumbs up on the discount for AirsoftChallenge vets on registration ;)
