« on: December 02, 2007, 12:59:58 PM »
Hello everybody,

I'm wondering if anyone know where is it better to buy 134a gas online?
I have Tokyo Marui Glock 17 and I cant find online store to purchase gas for it

Dont know why, may be I'm just blind.

Anyway, where do you buy gas?

Thank you.

Its my understanding that Marui GBB can't take green gas, at least not without breaking something.

I found G17 for a bit cheaper.
http://www.amazon.com/Gas-G17-Japanese- ... 0007LKTJ4/

TM can take Green gas (HFC-22), however it will lower resource of gun and it can result in gun's damage more quickly.

I'm wondering what is happening to 134a around country?
And when crisis will be solved... I found info on changed regulations from Department of Transportation, but it started in June or so and it is still is not solved.

I bought 134a 750ml can for about $12 in JT few months ago.
So that G17 is more expensive :(

Gearbox is a great retailer, and they are right across the street from me ;).

But it would be nice if they got a retailers forum on the site here, would allow them to field some questions and announcements on the biggest place where people learn things about airsoft.. the internets.

Our phone number is 480-831-8162. Feel free to PM me with any questions that you have, or just call the store. We're in the process of setting up a website, but it won't be ready until the first of the year or so.

And no, it's not the same as Jungletoy, even though I used to be district manager of their five stores that once were here in Arizona. We've taken great leaps forward from our JT days and now carry more parts and higher end product than Jungletoy ever did.

I've done extensive research on using green gas with TM Glock17 both on Russian, American and UK forums.

I've been told that quality of TM allows you to use green gas even without metal slide. However all factory tests have been done using 134a gas.

So some parts may get broken quickier if you use green gas. I decided for myself since it is handgun and usually it's used in cqb (less 50 feet), 134a gas will work just fine for me.

What bb's are you using with your Desert Eagle -- .2g or .25g?
