"Welcome to the Glorious Navy of Iran...

Now get into these little boats and go towards the big US ship thingy. Whoever turns away last wins. The rest of you will be shot"

Wow the Iranians really want to go to war dont they. Im afraid to see what they'll do for us to attack them. Pray its not another 9/11 my cousin died there and that would suck for that to happen again...

They are just trying to provoke us. I wish we would of blown them out of the water. They probably got close enough to see that they where US warships and not British so they turned back. The Brits will let there Marines get kidnapped but we don't but up with that crap.

Just send in a few SEALS carrying dummy limpit mines with big yellow smiley faces on them and place them on the hulls of a few "warships". That would be a fun message. Even better, you could write, "You just got back-doored!" in white grease pen!

Hell
I say let them fight our navy!  Let them learn the hard way!
No way they can even come within miles of our Nimits Class Carriers.
And when they're battered, we'll just shoot them to shit with our Marines HORRAH!!!

Nah, the best messages are the ones that CNN never picks up. I know it would scare the shit outta me more knowing I could've lost millions of dollars rather than a battlegroup floating off the coast (that costs us millions of dollars to float).

Good training mission, the best part is when Iran down plays it and called the event "ordinary."

Yeah, we are ordinarily reckless and cannot identify large war ships at 200 yards.

I think that says the right message all right.

bad news.

A conflict with these guys would be much worse than the extremists we're fighting now.

i see i see.

I have a much more respect for Iran after all that talk.  I don't admire them, because they are indeed evil no matter who says what.

How exactly does Iran, itself, compare our own military?

like putting an angry chihuahua against a fighting doberman

in all actuality, it wont be like fighting a bunch of terrorists, but it wont be like fighting a superpower military either.

I really do not think the US can afford another conflict in the Middle East. Especially with Iran, because if we go to blows with them, there is no question in my mind that they would go after our nearest ally in the area, Israel. The only way we can defuse the Middle East is by becoming energy independent.

A war with Iran wont come until we have a new president. Though afterward if a dem went to war with Iran then some serious shit is going down.

I really don't like the state of things right now. If a nuke was snuck in and went off in one of our cities Iran could be behind it and we couldn't prove to bleeding heart liberals and the international community who it was that put it there. Things aren't as straight forward as they were, we could be attacked and have nobody to hit back at.

We been at each others throats since when, the late 70's? If open hostility breaks out, war, then I imagine multiple countries are going be involved siding with us or them. It would be very probable we would be looking at WWIII at that point.
