I wouldn't complain about making a mid-range fps limit... MED 20 yds. for a slightly hot gun. Drop 400 fps to 375...

What have you heard about the fps?   Right when I get my guns on the comfortable edge of 400......Are they talking about bringing it down? :?

No, just bringing it closer to the national Op limits.

What Farslayer's saying is not a bad idea.

I run my LR 300 and as many can tell you it's kind of a beast at 375-400 FPS. You really do need to know how to exercise a bit of caution when running a weapon that's right at the limits.

I'd endorse a bit of lowering on FPS limits. God knows when we got to major OPs it's a pain in the ass when you have to bring a second gun just because you're worried your main might be too hot.

To clarify:

Those pictures are of players who were shot by weapons with a very high FPS (or maybe point blank) and serve as an example of why we have velocity limits.

I just heard a rumor and am not sure if the FPS in National Ops is higher or lower compared to our present ones.

FPS limits at national ops, as far as I've seen, is 375 fps with a .25.  With a .20, that turns out to be what, 410-420?  Anyone know for sure?

400 is perfect as long as you pound MED and surrender rules into kid's head's.

Seedy could'nt of said It better myself. Althou, this as a rule, hasn't been a big problem Its not getting anybetter, but there are ears out there that deal with this ZOMBIE type activity and the ZOMBIES know that we know there ZOMBIES. Maybe we should consider a ZOMBIE QRF to hunt them down..... [smilie=armata_pdt_40.gif] < something like this should do the job.... ;)
