He's a master.  You should see what he can do with a couple spray cans and a brick wall!

Do you know where in Gilbert they are located at? I do not plan on buying a rifle/pistol. I have no need. I just like to see their selection and any accesories they might have.

Arizona Expert Arms is a custom gun smith shop, not a gun shop.  They specialize in FAL's, AK's, Galil's, HK's.  Mostly building custom guns from kits and new receivers.  www.azexarms.com

Yes, it's a .308, but you don't want me to do your house.  It's a marriage-threatening ordeal whenever I attempt anything that big...

Kyle, can you do my truck in that paint-scheme?? LOL

On a serious note, what would you charge me to paint my real steel sniper rifle? Stock & scope.

Actually it's 7.62 NATO.  .308 and 7.62 are slightly different in overall case length.  You don't want to try shooting 7.62 NATO ammo in your .308 hunting rifle.  You'll have a heck of a time trying to chamber it.On the other hand, you can shoot .308 in a 7.62 chambered gun, but the accuracy will drop off due to longer headspacing.  Same thing with shooting .38 special ammo in a .357, headspacing gets too large.  [/rambling]

Bwahaha! I've read the same discussion about the .223/5.56. However, I do believe that you can shoot .223 through a 5.56 chamber with no problems other than a slight lose in accuracy. Besides that, why would I want to put 7.62 surplus through a nice, expensive bolt rifle with a piece of glass on it that cost more than the gun? [:D]

Regardless, that is a sweet rig, there Harley. You make me jealous. :) I still think I'l go with my AR, though, time and funds permitting. The .308 goes to a Savage I plan to get down the road. [:p]

.223 is actually 5.66mm, but as far as I know, you can say .223 and 5.56 mm interchangibly.  I think all the SS109/M855 .223 ammounition that the military uses is "officially" referred to as 5.56 NATO for the benefit of the rest of the world, I'd imagine.

Something I've always found interesting is that a lot of these calibers can be very different in what they are, yet very close in numerical diameter...

.357 is 9.06mm  So, as far as diameter goes, .357 and 9mm are 60/1000ths different in diameter.  A sheet of paper is about 100/1000ths thick.  That being said, .357 Magnum and 9mm Parabellum are different bullets, of course.

Actually 9mm is .355 if I remember correctly from my reloading of it in the past.  So it's .002 in difference.

Thanks Pancho!  It won't shoot like the .308 Winchester I got off you, but it's a lot of fun to shoot.
