Quoted from e-mail.

OPLC-VII, May 23~26,5, 2008, Tehachapi, CA

It's official, we're returning to Tehachapi this May for LC-VII.

After an lengthy discussion, with everyone's financial outlook in
mind, we have decided to adopt LC-V model in terms of uniform code,
details will be posted by BBmagnet in LC forum.

VIPs such as Col. McKnight, MSG Mullen and MSG Love will rotate
throughout the event so EVERY PLATOON has a chance to work with each
VIP.

Sgt. Miller and Sgt. Dobroff will each be assigned to one side. (not
rotating to the opposing side).

What we're doing is bringing back the highlights of LC IV and V with
A BRAND NEW TWIST!!! Stay tuned!!!!!!

For those of us looking at LC for the first time this year what was the uniform model like in V versus say VI?

In VI they went to having an allied side with Rangers in ACUs and Marines in MARPAT against the two tribes that were to wear insurgent type wear.  I'd tried to get on the Rangers with the rest of the Az crew but it filled up fast so I got to play an insurgent.

LC:V had Green vs. Tan (as most always) 3 unit types Marines, Rangers & Cav. The field was split into 3 sections. 1 part) Marines(T) vs. Marines(G) Other 2 parts) Cav. vs. Rangers (Cav. defending "color" land) Rangers of opposite color "invading"/attacking.

O yah the uniforms: Marines-marpat(that right?)Rangers-3 color woodland/desert, I forgot what Cav. was (tiger?) dont remember

It was ok, but you only saw one part of this large area for the 2 days.

Per Game Control they are going back to a green v. tan format this year so no ACU's (other than staff teams I think).

There has been a request that B Co will be green as is tradition.

I think its Woodland MARPAT and BDU v Desert MARPAT and DCU.

I will be going. I guess I will have to buy some TRU's in Woodland or 3-color depending on what side most people in AZ go as.

Does anyone locally RAID BDU's for a reasonable price?
