Best solution though, is a CCW and 2 spare mags.

Haven't taken the CCW course yet...but I do have ammo to spare.  Though I'm seriously thinking of taking a CCW course, especially if the new bill passes that will allow CCW holders to carry on college campuses.

No freaken way. I don't want the wannabe/fake LEO people with firearms on campus. They are the WORST people in the world to be CCW and most would be. Most of them think they can run 100yds and get 3 consecutive HS from 50ft in the dead of night(not kidding they really believe this). Most failed the Pysch test which is why they are trying to get the degree(women tend to fail the physical portion). And then piss and moan about the testing. I wouldn't trust them with a neon pink water gun.
I would just ignore threats from online. Back when I sold all my clones I had minors acting like lawyers on the law. I've never seen anyone get violent or argue on the field. And thats all that really matters.

Well I did once but that guy was nuts and out numbered. Haven't seen him since.

um ... WTF ?

What empirical evidence do you have that demonstrates that CCW holders are "wannabe cops" ?

I know a lot of people with CCW permits and none of us think that:

(we) can run 100yds and get 3 consecutive HS from 50ft in the dead of night.

Although I can run 100 yards.  And I don't typically train for headshots but I can do 3 consecutive center mass engagements.

Clones .... ? Minors acting like "lawyers on the law" ??

How did you get there ...?

Oh, BTW, it doesn't matter what you want as far as CCW laws go....

Im a CRJ major over at ASU West. About once a week there is a long debate in class about this stuff. I also tend to sit next to the wrong people.

My wannabe cop comment was directed at quite a few people I've met in my classes. They could tell you the exact thing a police officer could do but not what an officer would do or what they would do. One guy right out lied and said he was already going into the academy(accepted) yet a week later they denied him. He was one atleast 3 that somehow were accepted but not. Most of them already have CCW permits from the amount  I've talked to. Heck one guy brought it on campus because he forgot he had it(I was late that day).

And the comment was made by a girl going to be a FBI agent. She flat out said that and does CCW a .45 and just about everyone jumped in arguing her case and why she could and why they would. Everytime someone asks if I have firearms then always end it how perfect of a shot they are at the range but haven't been in years.

I swear to whom ever they really say this stuff in my classes. Half the time I don't even go or pay attention because of it. One guy was almost thrown out(another accepted but not an officer or in the academy) for making comments except involving rape cases.

Last one was armchair politics. Anyone can be anything online(person in question making the threats). I had quite a few kids misquoting the law to me or taking it out of context when I had my ACMs.

EDIT: And I was talking solely about the people on campus that I've met. I've got no problems with most airsofters that carry since they know and understand the issues dealing with CCW and firearms.

I am a CCW holder and a Mechanical Engineering student at ASU main campus. I do not carry on campus because it is illegal, but if I was allowed by law, I would. I am not a wannabe LE and I go shooting often.

just to point out that our Arizona CCW permits are "WEAPON" permits, not "FIREARM ONLY" permits and there are less lethal weapons that you CAN carry on campus, schools, bars, when you can't carry a firearm.

Are you referring to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Posse?  Do they really make a CCW exception for their members?

Just a question - has any of the Mods checked his IP against old "Issue" folks like Flash/Ricky?

The person making the threats was sidwayz76, who is the same person as GB38.

Both are condemned to a lifetime of pennance in the brimstone fires of a quirky user text and banishment.

Problem is solved.

Yeah, but there was no challenge to it... he'd get into a battle of wits totally unarmed.
