Mesa AO
« on: March 03, 2008, 07:34:39 PM »
I have a scenario set up for the 24th of May the only thing is that I don't have a place to hold the scenario yet.
Do you guys have any suggestions for an AO near Mesa that is 110% legal to play at?

Airsofter 1 won't let me post any games for there anymore because he says its within city limits and because I don't know how to find out if its 110% legal to play there I figured its probably going to be easier to find another place to play.
If you have a way that I could find out so that we can use it again it would be much appreciated.

You pretty much answered your own question.  Inside city limits = bad.

Well from what Ive been told the AO itself is outside of city limits its just the place we park our cars is within city limits so I think thats where some of the confusion is coming from I just don't know how to clarify it to anybody. :?

What do you mean, from what you have been told?  Don't you know for yourself?

Something like that is a big risk to take on the basis of someone else's word and it can reflect negatively on all of us here as well. If I were going to host a game somewhere, I'd do my own research.  As a game host I would feel that it would be one of my responsibilities to do so. Please, let us know what you find.

Also in this regard you are on Indian reserve land. They don't like that and will fine you and or throw you in jail with bubba as well.

Indian Land??!!  The place where we play is south of tally defense systems so I know that it isn't on indian land (close to but not on), now the alternate location that I put up is on indian land but I didn't find that out until a few weeks ago so we definitely won't play out there....ever

Check the Arizona State Land GIS System on the AZ state land website. Look for BLM and then contact your local blm office to find out what areas are available for you to play on.

BLM does have specific rules. We have had great comm with our local office and no trouble on BLM. Just follow their rules.
