I have a question. I know most people have rules that you have to be at least 18 to play, but would we be able to play if we've airsofted for a few years and are joining the military. Because it seems like we won't be able to play anyone or join a larger team because every body has 18 years or older rules. And I've heard before that people under 18 can't think under pressure but I can do that *Being Varsity starting goalie my Freshman year*. I just think it would be nice if maybe some teams had more leanancy. You know, train the future military and next generation airsofters. [smilie=armata_pdt_01.gif]

Just so we can make sure we understand your question -

You state that you KNOW and UNDERSTAND the AA Rules regarding 18 and older.  You state that you also know and understand that other teams have the same rules.

Correct so far ??

You seem to have missed that there are "teams" and places to play here locally that do allow under 18 players.

OK, now you want AA and other groups that have the 18 and older requirement to make a special excpetion for YOU because:

1) you play soccer
2) you play airsoft
3)you are going into the military

 :-({|=

Its not your fault.  And you are not the first kid to ask.  In fact, you were rather polite, though naive.

If you take the time to read the rules you will see that AA has a sponsership program for those under 18.
If you take the time to do the research you will find that even the Lionclaws Series has a sponsership program for those under 18.

But frankly until you are 18 you are shut out.  Thats just the way the cookie crumbles.

If you want to pursue playing with the big boys anyway, try contacting people by PM and ask what you can do to prove yourself.  Most of the readers of this forum are generally against minors in airsoft so you are much better off getting told how it is in private.

Best of luck.

Lived in Flag. Flag SUCKS .  Poverty with a view is all it is.  There are no teams because most people there are either totally left wing tree hugging wackos or to broke to pay their bills much less do anything else.  Seriously, I have a couple of friends who live up there and are considering getting into it.
