Urban Assault Challenge April 5

Marauders Tactical Training is hosting the Urban Assault Challenge (UAC) on Saturday, April 5 from 9 am – 6 pm.

Up to eight teams of four competitors are invited to test their skills in three different tactical events.  The competition events will feature:

Team Move and Shoot Obstacle Course
Hostage Rescue Mission (5 Room Building)
Building Clearing Mission against OPFOR

Teams will be scored on accuracy, mission completion, and overall time.  The top three teams will face a final CQB hostage rescue mission to determine the overall champion.

The UAC Champions will receive a free admission into the next Urban Assault Challenge and prizes donated by the event sponsors.

While not competing, teams can participate in 30 minute combat missions in other areas of the forty acre battle field.  These missions will include:

Attack and Defend Mission of a Small Town
Patrol Ambush
Search and Destroy of an Ammo Dump

 Don’t have a team?  Find one on either Tactical Training Day March 22 or March 30th.  Or just join us for the airsoft missions for only $10.

Team Requirements for the Urban Assault Challenge
Registration is $100 per team of four competitors.
Teams may register before April 1st at Gearbox Airsoft for only $75 per team.  

Teams are required to have the following equipment:
Matching Military Uniforms with Hat (Any pattern accepted)
Sealed Eye Protection      
Boots
AEG < 375 FPS
Tactical Vest (any pattern and type accepted)                              Hydration Carrier or Canteen
Four Non-Winding Magazines (2000 bb’s)    

Teams that register for the event before March 29th, may attend a FREE day of tactical training to familiarize themselves with the competition and the Urban Assault Course layout on Sunday, March 30 (10 am – 4 pm)

Registration for the Urban Assault Challenge is now open at Gearbox Airsoft.

Four team spaces are still available.

Event coordinators are working to get a video company to follow each team through the competition to create a customized DVD for each team.  Team members would be able to purchase the DVD for about $15.

Three teams have registered for the Marauders Urban Assault Challenge, with a fourth possible.

Early registration closes next Monday.  Teams that register can come out for a free day of tactical training to try out the competition area on Sunday, March 30.

Anyone can come out to the event and play in the missions.  Cost for the regular missions is only $10.  Turn out for these missions will probably be about 20 - 30 players.

If you do not register as a team, and only show for the missions are you still required to have non-winding mags? :?:

MTT normally requires participants of our airsoft missions to use non-winding magazines.

However, our staff can make an exception for new players who are not competing.

Most large scale games require non-winding magazines to help reduce the amount of ammo that a single troop can carry out into the battle field.
