Favorite M203?
« on: April 08, 2008, 04:14:55 PM »
There are so many different bands of M203's out there. Does anyone know of one that out preforms the rest? Or one that is simply a favorite?

An M203 is just a tube with a spring-loaded pin and trigger.  They all perform exactly the same function.  If you're looking for high performance, honestly you should be more concerned with the grenade you're putting in the launcher, not the launcher itself.
If you're looking metal, I'd go with CA or G&P. If you're looking for plastic, there's a slew of Chinese TM copies out there.

G&P is the most realistic, and best feeling launcher out there. but performance is all about the shell. i have had alot of m203s, and alot of shells. ALOT
my favorite weapon of all time

We stole the Eagle from the Air Force, the Anchor from the Navy, and the rope from the Army. On the 7th day, while God rested, we overran his perimeter and stole the Globe, and we\'ve been running the show ever since.

I think the OP is actually asking about the grenades, not the launcher.
I too am curious about the performance of the grenades.
I think I will be purchasing a Madbull short launcher (as soon as my Gov check arrives)
and don't really know which shells to get.

Do the lower capacity shells (24-48) have more range than the higher caps (68-120+)?
I like the price of the madbull 3 pack of shells @ about $125 for all 3, but they are only 24/shell (I believe).

Also, do they all have the "detent" to hold the bbs in place while loaded?

^^?????
anyway, yes, lower caps seem to shoot farther because they have the same amount of cas pushing fewer bbs through fewer tubes... HOWEVER< the madbull 3 pack are even smaller than standard grenades, and therefore has less gas. personally, i would not recommend them, because there are better package deals. i recommend G&P, Madbull, and the newer King Arms shells. i am actually selling some shells too (i have too many)

all grenades have an O-ring on the top to hold the bb's in place so you can run and jump while staying fully loaded and ready to launch. i have the madbull short launcher and i really like it. the only problem is that it has limited loading length. you cant use the long shells or the flat tops from mosquito molds. also the stingers are awsome for room clearing. they pack a punch and they feel more proportional to the small launcher.
