I've heard everyone's advice to stay away from Airsplat.
Unfortunately they were the only ones with the ICS MP5 silencer adapter I needed.
It was only $5 from them and $17+ from others. I just had to order it...
It came a few days later, all was well.
Sucked that it cost me $8 to have it shipped...oh well...
I prefer to drive over to APD since they are about 15 minutes from my home, but they don't have everything.
Just 99% of what I want. 98% of that I cannot afford...yet.

I have to say I'va had great service from Airsplat. I bought my first AEG from them, my ICS MP5 and when some mother f**ker stole it,  I bought my current AEG a CA G36 and it came just as planned and no problems, so I have yet to have a problem with them but my neighbor had troubles so I guess it's just a crap shoot. Just my experience. As for a first AEG, I'd like to say good choice.

In my opinion it's better to buy from local business, if your gun break their more likely to help you than this Internet website. I've researching for the right gun to buy, by the  time i was ready to buy it was the same price as paying more for shipping than tax. I bought mine from Apd ,they were pretty helpful with  very good service.

i totally agree with buyin locally, but i was only aware of softair depot when i got my MP5 and G36 and that place charged way too much when i could get the same thing for like $80 less.then i found out where apd was and got my Echo 1 M14 Full metal RIS and love their service.  [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif]

No, Softair depot is closed and they took all their repair  guns that people had in there with them too. they closed down a long time ago, I want to say almost a year, but I'm not 100% sure. the only good things they had were the low bulk bb prices. other than that they charged wway to much for guns and repairs the charged me $90 just to install a TB on my MP5 and that was without the TB price included.
