As for how we view younger players, its really about in-Op character, not what character we hear about on the boards. If in game you show the proper respect for a MilSim operation (and the Combat Challenge OPs are very strict MilSim), and act above your age and respect the (sometimes very foolish) "orders" of the vets, you will have no problems.
Most, if not all, of the players will know you, and the image associated with minors might start you off in the red, but be a team player, listen more than you talk, and do what your squad leader says, even if your ego might get hurt if you get wiped, and you will get along just fine. Having a little understanding of what it is to be in a MilSim OP (along with your father) will go a long way as well.
EDIT: I am generalizing WE, this is how I feel, and the general consensus I have gotten from most players across the country. It doesn't apply to everyone or every situation.
