Trees can really screw up a perfect grenade throw.

Well, a potentially perfect grenade throw.

After much discussion we at Airsoft Challenge have decided to do away with the limited ammo rule.  Instead we will implement a standard/mid caps only rule with limited SAW gunners per squad.
After trying it two other times we found it too difficult to manage to do it the way we wanted to.  Many players had complained about the single preference of ammo, as well as voicing concerns over lopsided resupply issues.
Players will now be allowed to supply their own bio BBs of their choice limited by only how many standard mags they can carry in to battle.

So to recap:
Bring your own bio BBs.
Leave your winding hi-caps at home.
Box and drum mags allowed for specified support weapons only.

hq

Running out of ammo was never an issue for me, and I already use standard mags.  I think this will work out just as well.  I always hated the rattle of BBs, reminds me of baby toys.  Now if we could just work on getting AEGs to stop sounding like sewing machines...

This is essentially what happened at Red Dagger anyways.  At least on the US side.

I always conserve ammo anyways, so I only used 2 or 3 mags worth myself.

I just may have to try and make this.  Maybe everyone else could bring their junk M4's and M249's and we can melt them down like the Russians did to a BRAND NEW shipment that we gave to the Georgians....

I smell a plot device for BHII... maybe after our (Russian alliance's) inevitable act and cover up of ethnic cleansing/mass murdering of UN camps?

And for real: WTF why would you BURN them? Couldn't Russia export them and store them for some other use? Is this normal? Or are they just doing it for the humiliation factor?

I would love to dig through that! i bet the receivers just needs to be re-heat treated and new internals.
