Is "camp" really all that far?

It probably wont be that far, I just don't plan on breaking between scenarios. Should be easy enough to go back and grab water or anything that is needed, but you will need to take yourself out of battle to do so.

Plans fell apart this weekend and we were not able to get up there to check things out. I plan on calling up there Monday and see where they are on restrictions and will plan from there. Regardless we still intend on playing at the Prescott AO.

instructions added to original post:

Meet at Anthem Chevron (Anthem Way and I-17) at 0700, leave at 0730 sharp. If you are not going to the meeting spot then be at the AO by 0900. I need someone to lead the convoy out at 0730, the guys and I are going try to get out earlier to get the field set up.

Directions:

North on the I-17
Exit AZ-69 N to Prescott Valley
Watch for the signs for Gurley St and take that exit
Head down past the courthouse and take a left on Whiskey Row (Google labels it Montezuma)
Take a right on Copper basin (there is a gas station on the corner there, just a small name if I remember correctly)
Copper Basin eventually turns into a dirt road, look for us on the left.

Looks like you will travel on Copper Road from Whiskey Row for 5.5 miles.

34 29'54.67"N 112 32'28.31"W, think that is in the area.

Unless my GPS thing is mapping wrong.  Those coordinates are SW of Cordes Junction.

When I copy and past it into google maps it gives me a point along copper basin road. I just stole the coordinates from one of Airsofter1's games.

If you plug in these decimals degrees numbers 34.498914, -112.540869 into Google Maps you will see the turn into the usual parking area we use.

This is not an overnighter.  BAS is not hosting it as such -- if you choose to camp over night, that is up to you.

...and as stated already -- there is no charge.  So yes, it is free.

If you would like to donate to the BAS gas fund, feel free.
