Discuss any airsoft-related accessories, cothes, or gear. How do you like what you have?

I've been staring at that for over 2 years now. Is there a reason it hasn't been changed?

Because they know it bothers some people. And it makes them laugh.

haven't been on here for a while. due to lack of internet.  anyway i just want to say i dislike ghille suits, they are marvelous things, don't get me wrong. However, no one likes to build them correctly.  Let alone use them correctly. I find it more humorous than upsetting at times, when you find a wookie running through the desert with a "sniper rifle" witch seems to be like a spring L96's with like a 400fps spring, and some obscene rifle scope that has like 40X90 magnification.  And to make it better they claim to be "snipers at heart" or "true snipers"! I don't think half of the people, which seems to be mostly younger players, know how to use a sniper rifle effectively. My personal belief in airsoft, sniping is more of hunting than actual sniping.  One other thing that bothers me is, kids ruining uniforms, and or wearing ranks or EGA's*!! [smilie=armata_pdt_19.gif] thats just me. Another thing that is fairly upsetting is knowing that i'll never be able to out wit Vince in a conversation. (i'll have a snappy comeback to stump you one day! [smilie=armata_pdt_19.gif] )

I've really only seen a couple people do it right, and yeah none of them seemed to be in or around the under 18 crowd.

Aw, I missed the paintball hating session. Ah well.

I used to play speed and Xball a ton. it's a different animal. It's like saying rugby and soccer are alike. I enjoy airsoft more now because it's so much more laid back, and isn't so much a "sport" as it is a "hobby." I like hobbies a lot more than sports. Especially if that sport becomes your job. I started airsoft because it looked fun, and lo and behold, it was. I left paintball because I was simply tired of the cutthroat competition of the game. Paintballers have egos, big ones, and I enjoy the community so much more in this game. Sure, the guns don't look like real guns, because they were made to win games, not play them. And I will say one thing, there are tactics in speedball. I know, it sounds ridiculous, but, these tactics are not "traditional." Most of the tactics in a speedball match come from the break, or very start of the game, and more from who to shoot and how to get the angle to shoot them. Airsoft uses more realistic tactics that I'd expect to see in an actual battle, not a sports game, but don't get me wrong, I adore airsoft so much more than speedball/Xball.

Thought I'd throw my two cents in there.

Oh, and, people who skew the rules of the game in their favor, that grinds my gears.

Trees can really screw up a perfect grenade throw.

Well, a potentially perfect grenade throw.
