BAS Op: Eagle's Nest
« on: June 29, 2008, 06:43:27 PM »
BAS OP: Eagles Nest AAR:

First Scenario:
The Cavalry Squad One and Two were instructed to secure the Western and Eastern Border Points. Special Forces were assigned to the hunt and kill the Defector.

OPFOR formed a defense of the captured border points. The Cavalry conducted their assault on the points eventually pushing OPFOR elements off. Once Special Forces were spotted the Defector and his security force fled the Border Point to the extraction point to the West. Elements of OPFOR built a defense around the Defector as he waited for chopper extraction. Intel at the Western Border Point was secured by The Colonies.

It was found that the Command Staff of the Border Guard defected and were able to escape with nuclear material.

Second Scenario:
The Cavalry received orders to assault the OPFOR Outpost that launched the attacks on the border and plant explosives for its destruction. Special Forces targeted the Outpost Commander for capture.

OPFOR built a strong defense around the Outpost providing security for the Commander. When Cavalry and Special Forces surrounded the Outpost and started pressuring the Commander and security forces, the Commander abandoned the Outpost retreating to a western extraction point. The Outpost Commander was able to escape the field. The explosives was able to get to the perimeter of the Outpost, but the outpost remained safe due to the lack of proper intel of its whereabouts.

Third Scenario:
Unknown.

Game play went to about 230, I was impressed how long we stayed out. Over all think the game went well and I hope you guys had some fun out there.

Austen and I had a great time!  I think Austen did very well (I am his dad though). KOBO, were you satisfied with his performance and attitude?

Thanks again for letting him play.

I had real good time, thanks dudes for putting it on.  The use of those EZ ups was nice, and the objectives were very challenging for our group of guys.  Its unfortunate there was that same cheating poor sportsmanship individual who still has not realized the error of his ways... our ears are open if you want to talk.
Regardless, I still had a totally awesome time Big American Style!  This has to be one of the few times there are no good pics of me also!!!

And for those that have been asking - yes, at some point soon I should be putting together another game myself.

That was a direct order.. someone had to teach you humility :p Think the only times I seen you was at the end of the game when my own teammate shot me in the head.

To be fair, you need to to mention that, 1. you were dead, 2. you were behind the enemy and 3. the enemy was between you and the tiny balls.   ;)

No BS...safety!  I won't even argue with that... That is so E.T.F. :D/
