it was fun even though i was the medic, and ran around dragging guys most of the time.

but one thing that wasnt made clear that i kinda had to improvise was my CCP got overtaken by the Pedar i belive and i didnt know if to leave it there and go off and respawn and jsut try to get it back or just pick it up and move it with me to the next ccp while waiting for a medic to heal me so i was confused. and  i was also not a fan of the 3 team idea. It kinda confused everyone as there was colors and patterns of the same uniform on different teams.

i had a good time and was really glad to see the use of more area for the ao.. wish more people showed though.
kick ass props, i like it when you force the teams to do something other than combat, like medic procedures, carrying a heavy ass objective box, ccp flags.. i'd definately like to see what you guys set up next.
as for the improvements. no need to repeat any posts.

thanks for the time and effort guys

oh wait one thing that did bother me was when we were in a firefight one time, KOBO was out and got shot again and he started cursing out at joe, little advice KOBO, Thats airsoft accidents happen were not all perfect shooters and to be honest you shouldn't have lashed out but instead acted in a professional manner and sat down instead of staying standing, nothing again'st you, i think your a awesome guy, just a little immature.

What now? I do not remember at yelling at anyone. I did not see much action at all, did a lot of firing into bushes all day. The only time I was hit, and never was fired at after, was at the end when the nuke was being taken from us, I did yell shot multiple times when I got lit up in the face to stop more rounds coming at me, but never said anything to the play. Anyone else at the nuke see me going off? I think you have the wrong fat boy, or someone else is running around with my name tapes...

Thanks for the advice though  [smilie=armata_pdt_34.gif]

It's not hard but no one (myself included) thought to make one up for the raid on the refinery or whatever the hell that building was, and I'm kicking myself now. We had planned about an hour ahead to take that building in force but they had two guys in there, no surrounding perimeter force (that I could see, I entered the facility through the east entrance with Stick 2) or an intercept team to cut us off or ambush the PEDAR unit enroute to the extract zone.

WTH is that? The idea of having to take that building and calculating about 60% casualties for the insertion teams as well as for the PEDAR perimeter security forces was so predominant on the raiding team's mind we never thought to question shooting whoever didn't come in with us. I.E. the second infiltration squad wouldn't reveal even half of their faces when they entered the building on the west side so we couldn't identify their camouflage patterns... so... we shot at them (sorry guys...) Sign and Countersign would have been a Godsend. The two Venezuelan guys in the building were dead so fast, we couldn't comprehend that there wouldn't be any other contacts in that facility or even surrounding it until the bulk of our platoon was half way back to our FOB. At one point we sat around arguing with each other after the recovery mission regarding where the prisoner actually was, who was escorting him etc, that our 360 perimeter sagged to virtually nothing and we still had no losses, even when a small task force of (maybe venezuelans) began harrassing our south east side.

we tried to get there, believe me. our orders were the same as yours, extract the prisoner and bring him back to the FOB. you guys just hauled ass tho and I heard you got to the jail in about 5 minutes after the game started so kudos to the Tan team. but it took five minutes for my unit just to get over the hill that was in front of our FOB so the prisoner and the PEDAR forces were long gone before any of the venezuelans made it from our FOB to the jail which is why you didn't run into any kind of resistance there.
I would have really liked to have had an intense firefight for the prisoner to have gone down but it just didn't work like that.

As far as having two red flags for different game stopping events, it's a good idea but maybe in the future we shouldn't use "Corpsman" for real injuries but "Injury" as code word for real injuries. A few of the guys on the field were actual Marines currently serving or past Marines who have served and "Corpsman" is just a part of their vocabulary now especially if we are having medic rules and they need to call for "medical assistance". I'm not a Marine but I rolled with one current and one vet on my unit yesterday and i heard it crop up a couple times and not because there was a real world problem, I'm not sure they caught the slips either.

Corpsman is a pretty standard call-sign for an injury in airsoft. I've only been playing for about 2 years but almost every game I've gone to in that time has used it. it may be kinda confusing but I think if people start yelling it when theres a real injury it'll get the point across.

NO ATV'rs, NO hikers, NO campers fvcking up the AO or action.  There was one time someone drove up to the Alamo, but no one was around so no fool there.  Seems really rare to have that happen now-a-days.

yes we were really lucky! theres been issues with looky-loo's out there before but I think the water scared people off from driving back there (besides us).

That was me.  And I would have not said a word until someone on your end called me a Fucker.  So don't start giving me advise about being a PRO.  PS.  I'm not going to sit down and get shot in the head by you.

For not really caring you were quick to drag someone's name through the mud on the boards. Now in this case it was my name and I was not to worried. I am confident people on the board know me and knew that was not me, but you might to be careful before dragging someone's name through the mud, especially when you don't care.

That's why I spoke up..  I don't think that I have ever heard KOBO so much as say boo to anyone much less cuss them out ;)..  Now if I offended anyone I am sorry.  If I had been sitting after being shot the string of about 30 bb's that hit me in the ass when I visibly had my red rag on would have hit me in the head, Not Good, and I think the amount that I was being hit was indicative of the individuals firing having their weapons aimed at me.  It was not just a bb here or there but streams of 10 or more at a time.  Rant OFF...... :D

Not very cool calling anyone out like that, especially when you are not even sure about who it is. Leaving the party nameless would have been the proper thing to do. I have literally known Kobo for 13 years and I don't think I have ever heard him yell profanity at anyone (except Cam, but he does not count). I am sure that the toneless communication of an internet forum makes this all seem like a bigger thing than it is, but if someone insults one of my boys, I gotta respond.

My thoughts on the game...
-I am not a big fan of the three team thing; communication and friend/foe recognition is always so bad in airsoft that this element always leads to confusion.
-I suspect a lot of the gameplay would have run a lot nicer had more of the green team shown up.  I think the inequity made the respawn rules less effective as medics were being overrun.
+REALLY Great props, great storyline. I like the complexity, but I think it is perhaps best to avoid making airsofters make very many decisions on how to proceed; most of that kind of stuff is lost on the guys that make the bulk of the force.
+The actually fighting was fun. I got to use my grenades and it was a target rich environment.
-Really long briefing...
-I was a little freaked out when that dude pointed his gun at David's head, I just wanted to get out there on the ASOV and rejoin my team.
+I really like the AO, I have never been to SASCO before and it was pretty cool.
-I the last op that you guys threw made better use of space and had more straight-forward objectives, it also kept people from clustering too much.

+I had tons of fun and I am really looking forward to the next event you guys put on. I am still in awe about how cool that nuke prop is.

We all love KOBO.  Maybe a little inappropriately at times...

But seriously, great game guys!  More, more, more! At that Ao...definitely worth the drive.

I agree with my team mate though - not a fan of the 3 teams, especially when it come to the double-triple-double cross.  Those sneak attacks were painful!

As i said in my post, KOBO seems like a cool guy, nothing against him. KOBO my bad for pulling your name out like that, Didn't know it was SARC, i apologize.

As for the whole incident, regardless if it was 20 or 200 BB's, you know its airsoft and that happens every now and then, i dont think anyone was offended, come on were all tough enough. i only brought it up cause it completely detracted from the game, you knew the rules, as i said regardless if it was 20 or 200 the rules still abide. i have nothing against you, i dont even know you. all i was trying to get across was to be more aware of the rules.
