I thought this topic dies and water-boy shut up, except for his other little buddies that keep comming on and making outragous topics like these.

I think we have made our opinion very clear on minors playing airsoft, and I dont think water-boy has helped to change anyones mind, I think this topic needs to be closed or deleted.

Aight dudes, i actualy work at the walgreens off Higley and Guad. My name is Derek and i work the front register there on weekends. I dont know about all this legal mumbo jumbo seeing as i dont airsoft too often in places like that, but there are ALWAYS people down in the feilds playing airsoft and legal or not, no one really gives a care. Ive seen groups of 20 guys head down there decked in full gear and no one says anything. its at a lower elivation than the road and pushed back so almost anyone that would care cant see you and anyone who does see you nearly never cares. So there is my two cents worth, have fun fighting it out  

On another note, there used to be a guy who came in on Sundays and played, i have talked to him several times, but i havnt seen him latly. If you happen to be reading this post (which im guessing you did seeing as you mentioned a post like this to me once) please email me. Thanks!

Good luck figuring out weither you can play there dudes, try not to get all your panties in a knot.

Airsofting within city limits unless you have permission from the city is illegal, no ifs ands or buts about it, I highly doubt that 20 some people go there every weekend and get no complaints at all, but Ive never been there so Ill take your word for it.

My friends and I are looking for more players in northern Phoenix.

We usually play out in the desert nearby 40th street & Jomax road.

We do mostly team deathmatch or capture the flag style games. Sometimes we do other scenarios or events, such as hostage/vip rescue or firing squad.

There is no official age requirement. We care more about maturity than age.

Hate to say it but walgreens is telling the truth.  Pure Speculation from most of you, I'm disappointed.  Realistically, Objectively, if Airsoft gets banned from the state of Arizona, it will be for reasons much more complicated then kids playing in places they shouldn't.
  Playing at Higley isn't fully legal, but if you think Gilbert Law Enforcement is by the book, your out of your mind.  If you absolutley have to play at Higley, you could call GPD, let them know your not participating in a shootout. #-o Don't be idiotic, and soccer has priority(That means go home).  The usual safety.  Be smart&responsible.
 NW corner should be avoided, along with most of the west side.  
SW Corner is also cutting it too close to houses, and should also be avoided.  
Its one of the only spots you guys have in Gilbert,(and its NOT a spot) Treat it like gold and DO REALIZE, IT WON"T TAKE A LOT TO MESS IT UP.

For some reason Gilbert Kids are sheltered.  Guys, I know it seems weird, but all you need is a "Harkins Move Ticket" amount of money in your gas tank, and Internet access and you can play Airsoft the right(er) way.

This is a more realistic evaluation of the Higly location.  I posted it for the education of future readers.  Just because something is illegal doesn't mean people don't have the right to learn about it.

Avoid Zones- Sw/W/Nw
Elevation- 30 or so feet below street level
Size- Quarter Square mile(ish?)
Description:  Behind a Walgreen's, Next to a CIA detainee outpost, 30 feet below the grand, lies a open field with a perimeter of vegetation.  In the center are soccer fields.  There are four corners on the perimeter, two of which should be avoided.  You shouldn't be playing Here, but people do what people do.

well i have to put my two cents in now.....even though its basically the same as everyone elses. i have hosted the RU games in the outskirts of phoenix for 4 years or so, putting me just over 200 posted planned games, and not once have i EVER considered hosting a game near any type of civilized area, there are just too many factors to deal with. matter of fact i have very carefully chosen locations to be out of sight of everyone, even cars that might pass by and get a glimpse. you have no idea what someone will think if they see a bunch of camo covered individuals carrying various assult rifles. hell i had cops come out to a field that was set up totally out of view, 4 wheelers saw it and called. they said we could continue playing there specifically because it was out of the way, WHERE IT DIDNT CAUSE DISTURBANCE TO OTHER CITIZENS.

My suggestion would be to find a place just outside of town that is an easy commute for you. your only asking for trouble using grey area defenses about someone saying you could be there. and im not saying your stupid, just sharing the knowledge that i have aquired through the years.
