Star G36K Battery question
« on: September 30, 2008, 03:13:42 PM »
Alright Im using my same old thread to save room on the boards, but I have a question about what type of battery I should buy. The G36 has a systema turbo motor and bore-up kit, now to the question. I am currently using a intellect 1400 8.4v stick mini, and it seems to die very fast. Im using a 8.4v 250 mA charger. I dont over charge it.

So could the problem be the charger? if not would my gun work better and the battery last longer with a 9v? If so what brand battery and what kind of charger?

Thanks

Systema Turbo motor makes me think that you're firing ahead of your magazine. Oops.

So how would I go about fixing that? without taking out the motor prefferably.

You could try a smaller battery. If you are using a 9.6v, try a 8.4v. or if you are using a high mAh battery, try a lower mAh.

I know you just got it and are most likely using the mags that came with it but you might try different mags.  I know my CA mags cant keep up with my LiPo but my AMP Mags don't have a problem.

yeah that might be it, another problem is Im only using one stock Star mag, my other mag is an electric winding 1k mag so im not sure if the mags are the problem, but i will experiment around. If nothing else I will just take it down to gearbox.

could your motor height be too tight? like the motor is straining to turn the gears therefore draining your battery quicker? could your battery be toast?

I\'ve touched that gun with my hand which had touched my penis. I hope you did not touch your mouth after touching that gun. That would mean your had put part of my penis in your mouth.

both could be possible, I bought the gun used from the cosignment wall at GB so I dont know much about the internals other than what I was told.
